  1. No, but im getting a clifford fitted as we speak, which will probably cause more probs
  2. When the car is locked from the key, its virtually impossible to open it from the inside, i can hear the pump working for a long time and im not too sure what is happening here, anyone have any ideas?

    3pt belt conversion?

Yup, you can convert to a uk/europe seatbelt system you need the complete seatbelts, clamps, the bar on the floor which the seatbelt loops through and the height adjustable mount which bolts onto the B pillar, you would also need to swap the trim pieces for one from a European car (A&B Pillar) However all parts are easy to ship except for the A pillar trim as they are really long!
  4. So no ones heard of Conolly hide food?
  5. a few years ago when i had my peugeot GTI it had half leather interior so i bought a cleaner called saddle soap and some hide food (a cream which hydrates/conditions the leathers) so i was just womdering what people use to clean the leathers and what they condition them with. If anyone else uses Hide Food, can you tell me what procedure you use to apply/remove it also has anyone used autoglym and whats this like? Thanks in advance
  6. quite pleased with myself today as i managed to get the supercharger off without any big problems, it alot lighter than i thought, this is the one from the breaker which i planned to get rebuilt. Had more hassle getting the front lights out as the screws were crap and rounded off anyone had a similar problem? The worst part of the job is organising the bolts and marking them so you know where they go back on this is where the tipp ex comes in! So im starting to strip the other bits off the car and getting ready to reply to people who have requested bits from me. By the way, im planning to get a oil pipe made which goes from the oil feed at the side of the head to the oil return (to use as a bypass pipe) using the same fittings would anyone else be interested in this? last question is the seal in the silencer box is this available seperately, mine split so i need a new one.
  7. The optimum words being 'off the lights' of course cos the saxo's weigh next to nothing whereas the corrado's a hefty old thing! had it been a properly sorted g60 (not saying yours aint) and a dual carrigeway run i'd put my money on the corrado 8)
  8. sorry to hear about that geezer, what the details of the car? im sure you'll find him minicabbing around somewhere. Another point......only use account transfers with businesses, if he could transfer money to another account, he could also bring the cashi dont see the logic! Anyway i'll keep my eyes peeled cos im in the london area. Was this the same guy with the storm?
  9. I've used Autoglym, the super resin polish followed by the extra gloss protection i think its the Muttz Nuttz. The only thing i hate about the polish (super resin wax) is that it leaves white marks on black seals.
  10. i think the latter ones suit it better i fancied the league 066 on the corrado's back in the days when i couldnt even dream of buying let alone insuring it! By the way the first set would make the car look like a fat woman with skinny legs just my opinion though
  11. I used to think grey was a boring colour, but the more i look at the grey corrado, the colour grows on me. Better get rid of it before for some insane reason i spend money to restore it :? I've seen a grey corrado with a flip in it how many different types of grey were produce? cant find this out as the corrado club website is down
  12. My favourites are: 1. Corrado (any) the muscular looks are unique no other car compares to the styling. 2. 205 Gti i had a 1.6 and the handling was superb very nimble and responsive, i had a limited edition sorrento green with full leathers as standard, power steering and black carpet. 3. Series one love the factory look 4. Golf clippers, doesnt everyone go through that phase :)
  13. if you dont want to see your Supercharger blow, PD motorsport is where to go
  14. giveaway some stickers or a free rebuild  here goes "if you've been Jabba'd, and it didn't hit the hut, try PD motorsport for quality work by veedub nuts"
  15. Top Marks for Brookescourt Jabba Chip had arrived two after i sent my cheque. Also Darren from PDM Helpful about information on charger rebuild.
  16. i'll take a couple too, was thinking about one that read "stick that screwdriver in again, and i'll shove it up your ar*e" this incident is really getting the better of me
  17. but at least you guys have cheaper fuel :(
  18. i can understand what people mean now about expensive C ownership. But getting an alarm sorted this week and then supercharger rebuild some time next month. Who supply's and fits a6 door handles? would it be better getting the kit from C&R? or do they make cheap pattern kits?
  19. Looks nice, i remember a couple of months ago we both put in post for wanted g60 i managed to find my black corrado g60 in april. when did you get yours?

    non runner

Good that you got it sorted, have you had the car on a rolling road as i am curious to find out the power these cars produce
  21. Trust me it works! have a look at my damage in the gallery section, a warning for fellow corrado owners to keep it secure
  22. I would like to retain the factory look on the corrado thats why i'd prefer to use them too. But without armour plates i cant really see them being more secure than original, i'm think most thiefs operate at night time and they probably wouldnt notice the lock anyway.
  23. I was just wondering how secure would the car be with passat rear handles? I dont see how they can deter the thief, ok there is no rod to unlock the latch from the door handle but if they fiddle around abit further inside the door they can unlock the door via the rod that goes to the central locking solenoid. I think the only way the rear door handles can prevent breaking is to be used with armour plates as they wouldnt let a screwdriver go in the door in the first place. By the way i was taking the steering cowling off my car, and a police car went by (quite slowly as theres a bend in the road), they could obviously see that i was messing with steering side of things but they didnt even look twice. A few minutes later another one went by and again didnt look twice what do we pay them for exactly!
  24. i was thinking of that and also them flamer kits which were about some time ago, hook up a mini switch to the door lock, as soon as its triggered POW the flames shoot up and grill the MOFO!
