tyres do play a big part....i drove my friends vr on 17"s with yoko tyres and it wasnt too bad to be honest -
perfect for track days or the people that want to preserve the look of a car...cant see the point on an every day car though??? they want to keep it looking nice.........but it looks sh1te with a car bra on so whats the point?? they may aswell drive a pink metro .... ppl will think there just as wierd

putting bigger wheel on in itself doesnt improve anything....its the lower profile tyres that would give the improved feel as there would be less sidewall flex... but it may mean a harder ride and if there big heavy wheels would mean slowness and heavy cornering.... best looking for some lightweight 16" to be honest oh just stick to the standards -
where abouts.... i think i am the only green vr in cambs.. a couple of blue ones and an indian red one and a black one that i know of...oh and a green storm that i often see...so i guess that makes 2!! where were you getting the miltek done? im going all the way to JMR to get mine (wish had looked on a map before ordering  )
-
use stiffer rubber mounts??? im having a miltek fitted soon...hope i dont get similar probs!
-
but on 7 inch wide you wouldnt want 43 would you?! youd want 35. max 38 is to avoid catching the shock / spring
-
pcd for a vr6 is always 5x100 as for the offset you want something around et35 ish
-
