  1. Damn! Realy wanted that steering wheel!!!!!!!
  2. Its the thermo fuse in your blower motor itself. Remove the lower panels from under teh glove box in passengers footwell and you will a box on the far left at the end of the tunnels that carry the air. Remove the bottom of it and the blower motor will pull down. There is a small resistor in there that needs removing and replacing. You can get them from Maplins. Just takes about 15 minutes and a bit of soldering to fix! There is a guide here or on the wiki somewhere that will explain with pictures :) ---------- Post added at 12:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:26 PM ---------- Infact - look at the stickys in this forum. 3 Posts up from this infact, at time of writing. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?47180-Heater-Only-Working-On-4-Try-This
  3. Its a very easy job to do - I would do it yourself. However a good shop will give you the best setup for it, especially if they are going to tune it all up and get the settings sorted etc for £80! Thats the bit that takes the time. Plumbing in a big banging from your boot is easy - its taken me months to get mine sorted out now to the point where the sound stage is directly in the center of the car and the bass sounds great with any song (although weak on rock songs - but cant turn it up any more as its insane with dubstep allready!). Of course if you have the correct metering tools you can do this very quickly - but by ear, it takes aaages!
  4. Almost definately wiring. IIRC the VW's swap the wires around for the permanent and switchable lives for some reason, which confuses people. Basically if its connected the right way round it will turn on and off with the ignition and if its not right you can turn it on and off whenever (like I can with mine). If it does it intermittantly then it probably means yours is wired up the same as mine but the permanent wiring is a bit iffy and means that when that cuts out it will have the switcheable live as its permanent power - which will cut out when you take the key out and it will loose its setting.
  5. Only in Peterborough if you need anything!
  6. Dave can you drop me a PM when you have some more available please - definately want one and will send mine back to you as soon as new one is fitted.
  7. No offense but they are pretty manky looking. They're gonna need a good strip down and thorough clean up. Any idea what the piston looks like? Are all the bolts free? Do a deal for the rears & 288's £50 posted and you may have a deal
  8. Hi dude - ill take the wipers £30 posted? Arms and blades? Cheers! Also - Why are you breaking? Car looked fantastic!
  9. ill take both door seals, or at least the passengers seal if the drivers has allready gone.
  10. Definately still a go-er! Been away with other projects recently and this kind of slipped to the back burner. Definately seems that the winner will be the late wings to start with, but I will need a template first to get the mould running I believe. "My Guy" is coming over tomorow night, so I will have a chat with him then and update you all with how we can progress :) Im pretty sure ive actually got the later flared wings on my early valver, so may be able to use them as a template. Anyway, will update you all as soon as I can!

    Sunroof replacement

Mine was a bolt in fit. You need to adjust the glass though to get it to sit flush with the roof line otherwise you get quite a bit of windnoise from it. I had to play about with motors as well, although I cannot remember what the end result was...
  12. They have pads? Are the callipers in good working order? Any rust / corrosion on the pistons? If they are all good ill probably take them off your hands :) Any chance of a picture please mate, just to see what condition they are in :)

    Headlights

Im struggling to work out what your actually trying to sell... Any chance of a list of bits you DO have?
  14. Absolutely gutted that I was unable to make this! Absolutely gutted :( Thankyou to everyone for the photo's - they look amazing! And of course if anyone has a high res shot of the rado's lined up on the banking, drop me a pm :) I think it would be highly illegal to not incorporate this massive event in the 2013 calendar!
  15. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html Handy link for picking cards.
  16. Yeah that should do it fine, im running a very similar setup with a higher PSU and a 6690 GFX card and that runs BF3 brilliantly!
  17. This may help, it may not, but mine is a 1989 with a G60 subframe...
  18. I'd fogotten all about this aswel! I intend to get down there on the sunday (probably saturday night after work and camp somewhere if theres anyone else planning on doing the same?), and paying membership when I get there if this is ok? I dont know what the crack is with parking up on the banking, would love to do this if possible! Cheers!
  19. Gotta be honest, even though ive said I will definately take one of yours, I got one of the templates mentioned about 5 posts up delivered the other day. Its not exactly difficult to make a base template but it saved me the hassle :) I intend to make something up myself as more of a project for me personally, but when completed I will offer them up to the community if its possible for me to get them produce or make a few more myself. Im of the oppinion that communities like this work the best when there are lots of people getting involved. 1 option for a cupholder? Why, when there are 3/4/5/6/7 possible alternatives? If its not about making money from it - then surely the alternatives are a great thing for everyone? & if it is about making money from them - awsome, welcome to the competitive world of business :) Work out which is more important the the buyers: 1) Price, 2) Delivery Time, 3) Quality - and make sure your product beats the rest on the important criteria for your customers :)
