VR6 badges on the back is being stealthy   you can get a primed "corrado" badge from VW, but not a chrome looking one like mine. i dont know about the VR6 badge on the back, the front one is not avaliable either. You also cant get the rear "VW" badge from the dealers, not sure if the golf one fits tbh... they might do, but again i doubt VW will have any if they do... i have contacted the guy from the states about these, he does the "corrado" badges to... but i changed my mind in the end i speak for all VRT owners and past owners, you wont regret it

i know someone who brought 1, and 1 of my mates told him he had been done big time as it was no way a 2ltr  he obviously had never seen 1 before and generally thought it was a 1.4 or something...

VR6 only will use a lot of fuel in stop start driving, otherwise its not that bad... and they always look mint in pictures
-
my golf 8v a lot nice than the valvers i have been in  and for 2k mate, you can get a awesome 8v... i would be looking in the region of 1200-1500 for a decent one

my mate had a low mileage L reg audi coupe 2ltr 16v, full service history etc etc, and it was a nightmare, always had things wrong... my 8v doesnt miss a beat and has much higher mileage. I know that it could be anything and different factors, but from what i have read and seen the 8v seems much more reliable and i was looking at 1 myself to replace the golf but decided to spend the money else where...

kev has it in his bay!! i wanted the standard air box, but the way the pipework is (thickness and angle) cant be done in mine...
