that bull that the garage said unleaded will cause valve seat probs.....vw's havent needed lead in years...but low octane will cause poor performance/pinking

so your sure it flushed properly??? it really does go like jelly! try running it up with the cap of...let it cool..top up..then put the cap on

was the orig anti freeze red? i know you dont mix red/blue..it goes like jelly btw when i drained my system it took a while for the heater to get working..try running it with out the cap on...till the fan cuts in...should let some air out

just a thought.....have you tried getting klubber(chargergrease) off your hands?? it sticks like hell...id use petrol or paint thinner... if you decide to use degreaser use it neat...fill up the ic and soak it,then use water to flush it..you can get a gallon of degreaser quite cheep at motor factors

clean em with a damp rag..like white spirit....you can also sometimes get away with jet washing em..point the nozzle in that direction btw clean em on the car...they usually break if you try to take em off

get your self a voltmeter..and test volts at battery..then at the headlamps trust the man..relays rock...best mod you can do

made my own copies...i used 6 1/2"rings made from mdf and fibre glass to build up the door pocket...then covered it with stretch vynil they look as good as the others ive seen...prob took 2-3 weeks of evenings to make but cost under£20

not sure if this is what your saying?? when abs is working,under hard braking the pedal pulses...so the the wheels dont lock...it is very noticable that it does it and its completly normal did the car stop properly when it happened??....you should find with the light ON the wheels will skid in wet conditions....light OFF it should just pulse the pedal and the wheels do not skid until under 5mph

them chips away guys arent that good....sort of thing youd have done to sell a car...not on a keeper we have em all the time at the garage i work at....never lasts long

its a jabba stg 4....have you got a check valve? they can lose boost through the isv ....funny about them saying 12 is the norm...they told me to expect 17-18?? from what i see on the american forums..16psi is good for what ive got...some get a touch more or less...but id say 12 is bad btw...thats on on autometer gauge..not mfa

im getting 16psi with std stg 4...no r1...but yeah like g60jet says the cam is changing it...letting it flow more

try setting your c/o pot to 450 -500 ohms on the outer pins....not really a mod ..more of a tune up tip....should run nicer....more ohms =more fuel
