You can use the Rear vr6 badge from a Passat B3 which is what I have on my car. It is exactly the same size and shape as the corrado one from the front but with a chrome finish rather than brushed metal. It comes as part of an all in one "Passat_VR6" moulding but you can just snap/cut the vr6 bit off the end. Then you'll need to make a bracket to attach to the grill. You can buy the B3 badge for £10 on eBay!

NorthEast Owners Helmsley Run 2013

Last time I did RR day at Motorscope it came to about £40 for 3 runs based on about 20 cars. They actually said we should have a BBQ next time as they have a fair bit of land out back so we could do both! I'm happy to drop them a line and sort some dates. Ron -

Hey guys, So next meet, any ideas? I would like to propose a rolling road day, suggest Motorscope in Northallerton but any other good suggestions for locations? Cheers Ron -
Hi Swampy, Just got around to it now, thanks for the PM and another user also PM'd as he has some DG Autotech ones to sell and so I'm just checking prices before I work out which is the best option. Cheers Ron

How old are you, and how long have you had your Corrado/Corrado's?
Hofmiester replied to Overmind's topic in General Car Chat
35, had 2 in quick succession when i was 24, a 16v then a VR6.......bought another VR last October on a whim, the guy in the local body shop said "I see a lot of guys like you, buying old cars like this for nostalgia. It'd a sign of a mid life crisis" I thought cheeks ******* but then he said he is 62 and knows as he's been there. He now has a Rover 75 and doesn't care, fair play to him :) -
Yep, original wheel for the win!

I've bought some 288 brakes from a MK3 VR6 and while I'm changing things, I may as well go to braided hoses for my VR6 Anyone know what I need exactly? I know that Goodrich do ones for the VR6 but will the front ones need to be different due to the golf brakes? I also remember there was a member on here making them but can't remember who? Cheers Ron

I really don't want to have to sell this car but I have been offered company car (Golf MK7 2.0GT) and so it seems like a no brainer decision financially. I bought the car in May last year with the plan to build it up to a similar spec to an S3. As while I could have bought an S3, I needed the boot space of the Octavia as I have kids. I have only covered 5,000 miles in the car since I bought as I've been using a company pool car for most trips. Pics from Summer last year, only difference now is Black Grille and parking dent in rear arch (see pic lower down) Spec: Registered Jan 2010 47,000 miles (next service is due at 57K) Full skoda history Race Blue DSG with paddle shift MFSW Maxi-dot MOT Jan 2014 TAX end of June 2013 Mods: Shark remap ITG panel filter Modified down pipe (pre-cat removed to help flow and EGT, main cat still in place for MOT) Poly engine mount insert Magic Black Grille EBC Green pads front and rear Parrot Blue Tooth kit Bad bits: Only one: a couple of weeks ago some git left me a parking dent on the drivers rear arch, about the size of a 2p coin. Was planning to get it sorted but not much point now. The paint is not broken, cracked or scratched and so a good dent removal guy may be able to sort it cheaply. The deal: This is as opportunity to get a real bargain as basically new company car arrives first week of April and I am really busy at work. So the standard car is worth about £8700 to £9500 according to Parkers. The remap and extras came to over £700 £8950 ono (reflecting the ding in the arch) Please PM for my number or email at [email protected] Thanks Ron

"ill upload others if they are ok with the Reg Numbers etc etc. PM me guys if your cool with that." Fine with me. It was a really good day out, shame about the weather at the end but that drive was incredible. I was behind Dave (fragsxr) when he left the ground :) We drive back in a pretty heavy now but all was good. The goody bag was a nice touch Michael, the wine gums kept me going when food was scarce ;) Trophy for best car was a good idea too. I think next time we should all chip in a couple of quid to cover trophies and things like that. Get the pics up lads! -

Finally got my engine bay tidier and ready for the North East meet next weekend. Haven had a chance to get my Samco hoses on though :( Also new set of genuine mats from the dealers, just to add a final touch as mine are looking a bit tired. -
Any Raddo owners in the North East?

Great stuff, this is going to be great! I'd better get a move on with finishing the last bits on my car. Need to solder a new ABS pump connector onto the loom plus I have all the parts now for heated seats.....would love to have that working by then.....plus the Samco hoses.....bugger too much to do!
