Tim 280 is the standard vr front brake size, but the 288's of the mk3 vr is what people swap to

The 2.8 odb1 inlet will give a little more torque as it is more restrictive than the 2.9 and also why the rado 2.9 gets more horse power

If he put all of the inlet from his 2.9 he wont be seeing 20 bhp less! The 2.8 and the 2.9 odb1 engines are almost the same
