Red 16v with standard wheels in Leeds G*** TMB I think.
-
I think alarms have to have a bonnet sensor to obtain Cat 1 approval but you would have to look at the higher end Cliffords to get a tilt sensor - around £500 I'd guess. Why do you want a tilt sensor? Only really useful if you have expensive wheels, in which case I'd hope you have locking wheelnuts.

Having trouble getting the handle off. It's difficult to actually to see the underside of the handle. Made the centre console worse too. I'm considering sticking the console down with double sided tape! As you may have guessed I'm not very good at this DIY thing as simple as it may seem :(
-
Thanks GRINGOG60 and DEL VR6 will try that now before I leave for work and let you know how I get on :)
-
The screw under the rear ashtray seems tight and the one under the handbrake seems to be attached to nothing which is why is the console is loose I think. Think the part it should attach to is broken. Also the plastic piece which covers the metal of the handbrake is broken so I have bought another one but how do I get the actual handbrake handle off so I can attach it?

If it only has 2 doors then it's a seriously quick Scooby!
-
If it's a standard one about the same age as your VR6 then the Scooby is quicker on the 0-60 sprint but the VR6 is quicker through the gears and 50-70mph in top gear if I remember rightly from the Autocar tests (Past Masters section) :) If it's a more recent model or has some of the many chips/modifications available I'd guess the Scooby is quicker - but it all depends on the model as HiAsAKite says. VR6 is much smoother though :D

J plate in ice grey violet or something very similar. Lovely colour. 3.10pm about a mile south of Manchester city centre on the A34 heading north. -
I'd go for the smoked option mate, look better on a black c. My opinion anyway.

Same here Tom, I think pound for pound there isn't a better all round performance car out there. Glad we all have one then :D
-
stevemac is the Chris Knott quote you have dependant on you being a CCGB member? If so, how much is the premium discounted?
-
And from memory, the max time you can have between wipes is 14 seconds - I think!
-
All the best with it, I think that colour is great.

Looks the business mate. What you planning to do with the exhaust? Get a standard looking one?
-
well it is a big VW afterall    Yep :) Does it have the W12 engine? With twin turbos? 8) EDIT: And how does it get 275 bhp through the wheels??? He said something like it's just approaching its limit!

I was laughing at it. Did anyone notice the 'Corrado' style spoiler on the Bentley COntinental last week? Looking forward to next week. I must remember to buy a decent blank tape this week!
