    Yep good cars the Touring is definitely the one to go for, I think you get cd changer and leather interior with that model.

    Funny you guys should be discussing this because I had a 'run in' with one last night and although the R32 was quick it couldn't keep up. I kid you not - I was well ahead. :) :) :)

    Think I have said before I wasn't a big fan of the colour but it has grown on me a lot. dubster82 I'd like to do that, didn't know about colour coded door handles - has anyone on here got them?

    Here are the rest (by the way new mats are on the way - had the car valeted a while ago and they 'lost' them or put them in another car!

    Im thinking about getting another car as a cheap run around, I'd go for a mk 2 gti 8v had a mk 3 and it was sloooow.

    I agree with VR6 - it's due to the significantly heavier front end of the VR.

    That's a good price but you have to be careful mate cos when you come to renew not all insurers will accept your 10 months NCB as a full year - although when your policy runs out they provide a renewal notice showing 1 year's NCB! I also had the same problem as you - I was always a named driver until last year.
