  1. Is this something standard on the corrado?? I'm sure I don't have intermittent wipers!
  2. Get the end of the arb as hot as you possibly can, then with a large pair of grips/water pump pliers undo, you may find it will come off easier if you undo then re tighten a little then undo, keep doin this and it will come off. Took me a little while to get my rusty ones off but I got there in the end. Good luck
  3. I had him on the phone threatening me! Saying he'd come and smash me up haha! I think he has little man syndrome! We will meet one day and and sit him on his A*s!!
  4. Maybe he will only sell the decent stuff when meeting face to face? Gets rid of all his other ****e posting!
  5. I had ****e dealings with this idiot too! Sold me two wings which he said were mint! Charged me £130 posted, they turned up in one thin piece of bubble wrap bent to hell, when I opened it they were rusty as hell too! He tried blaming the courier and never refunded me! I haven't forgot though! When in next driving through Birmingham he's gonna be introduced to my mate BAT!
  6. Try heating the arb! A little heat goes a long way usually.

    Vdo gauges

Thanks all, think I've got to the bottom of it, basically the sender I've been supplied has a low pressure reading of 29.6psi which is very high, hence why the light is flashing on the dash!

    Vdo gauges

Thanks for the reply buddy, but was really after using a dual pole sender if I can as I've read the single ones with a t piece are a PITA to fit.

    Vdo gauges

That's the thing buddy, I've already used the search and read through endless pages! there seems to be a lot of conflicting info hence why I asked for someone with a working 'VDO' sender to tell me there part number. Vw don't sell these anymore as I've already been and checked.

    Vdo gauges

I fitted the sender as stated above, I bought this of a fellow forum member and was told it was the correct one, but I'm not sure now as I have this problem! Does anyone have a part number for a Vdo sender which they are currently using with no problems? Thanks
  19. Do you have a part number Dave for the one you now have? As I think I've been sold the wrong one!
  20. Dave did you ever sort this problem?

    Vdo gauges

Update, I have checked the oil and took the car for a test drive, as soon as you start to slow down the oil light on the dash starts to flash.i don't understand what the problem can be as all was fine earlier today before I swapped the pressure sender? This is what the Vdo shows all the time whilst driving

    Vdo gauges

Hi all, I have just fitted my new video gauges but not sure if the wires n the sender are the right way round, there are 2 symbols on the sender one is 'G' and the other is 'WK'. I have the wire form the vdo gauges to G and the original blue wire in the bay onto the WK one. The reason I'm not sure there the right way round is because when I start the car the oil pressure shoots to over 10 on the gauges! Is this correct? Thanks
  24. Morning all, I'm on route to Audi International at Castle Combe, now after buying a new set of VDO gauges and making a loom up I need need an oil pressure sender. I've looked through many of the posts on here about the fitting of these, it's been mentioned they are available from merlin motorsports at castle Combe, so my question is exactly what sender do I need for my 95 Vr? Thanks in advance.
