1st year last year and was a good time. Situated in Canford Magna between Poole and Bournemouth. Would be nice to see a few more Corrado's there. I plan on going on Sunday for the Show & Shine and it'd be great to boost the C's in the field! Details are http://www.dorsetvolksfest.co.uk/

Spotted a red Rado on the way to Blandford A350 coming from Poole. Waved but way too late!

Tried to get my new shiny billet radiator elbow on, but couldn't get the bolts out from the old one. They are spinning in the sleeves. Anyone any ideas?

Nice spot emu! Well, there you go - couple of recommendations for the things and now even cheaper! Sonic Scrubbing here we go!
-
My wife had a scrubber for those scrambled stuck bits - me!
-
I've used it on hard to clean bits like boot lock clips, bonnet clip, around bolt heads in the engine bay, around the badges that sort if thing. Don't buy one if you're OCD though. You'll be cleaning everything in sight!
-
Yep! Ideal if you've got a pet camel!

https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/sunday-11th-may/product-detail/ps/p/sonic-scrubbers-pro-detailer-1/ Sonic Scrubbers back in at Aldi tomorrow! £9.99. I've had some good results using this. Pretty good for the money. PS - I don't work for Aldi!

The spoiler, actual aerodynamic aid or marketing ploy?
JEZR replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in General Car Chat
I found this on a trawl and there's a pic of a C with spoiler down and up with airflow. If the rest of the thread is correct, then it looks like we're all wrong! That said, isn't the Porsche more cooling than downforce or both? http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5862828-First-automatic-spoiler-wing& -

JEZR replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in General Car Chat
It'd be interesting to see the results in a wind tunnel! However, surely one of the best bits of a C is that it was the first production car to have a spoiler that rises? Then look at a list of those that followed, including the Veyron and (heaven forbid) that Crossfire hairdresser thing! -
CCGB National Day 2014 - all the Details

Hoping to trundle up from Dorset early! -
Got the MOT done yesterday on a retest. The flipping rear fog failed. Thankfully after a few minutes Dave Booker got it working but the garage had no time to retest. Took her in yesterday and got the paperwork. Tax next. After a winter of driving a F&*d it was flipping great to drive a real car again. Summer here I come!

Mine was a daily driver doing 38 miles a day for a few years. Got so hacked off with the salt eating it. Had a hole in the drivers door and had to replace it. She's still snoozing but come March, she'll be in the air again. Can't wait!

Hi Rams. Can't remember, but does the old girl have a VDO unit with the two gauges - fits below the radio in the well? If so, text me with a price! Jez
-
Rams - This is sad as... and I understand why. The car is a gem and one of the best out there. :pale: You're going to be missed from the scene and especially Dorset Corrado.

It's beginning to a look a lot like Christmas......

Nice snow! Love it - glad it's not yellow! Happy Christmas all  -
Lovely sounding dark C trying to get through the traffic by Villa Park. As tasty as the win over Cardiff. UTV

How old are you, and how long have you had your Corrado/Corrado's?
JEZR replied to Overmind's topic in General Car Chat
In a bid to tilt the average age, I'm 51 and have had the VR for 10 years. Prior to that 2 Sciroccos and a Polo Formel. Does this make me a long term addict? -

If anyone wants to convoy up I'll be leaving Dorset at just gone 7.30 and heading up to Salisbury, A303 - M3 - M25. Can meet up on this route. Let me know! Jez -
Took advantage of a decent day and did some detailing. Noticed a couple of tiny paint chips and scratches that have appeared. Bought a car cover from Lidl for £15 (the medium sized one didn't fit) so got the large. That should keep the bat **** and spider poo off of it. Just hope the weather is good for the Brooklands meet.

Cheers for letting us know and it's a fine reason. I know there were a few of us wondering on the day - and what a fine day it was!
