  1. Wheels at a guess... the G60 should have BBS where as a valver would have Sebrings? (Although the easrly press car G60's had Sebrings hmmmm :? )
  2. Hello and welcome to the forum... congrats on the VR - I'm sure you'll find all you need to know on here 8)
  3. lol you only need to buy the arms once though... would expect to be able to buy a pair of blades for £20ish once they hit the main motor factors! For some reason wiper blades are much cheeper in France than the UK - my father always brings back a load (of normal ones) when he goes on day trips... this may be the same on the aero ones too!?!
  4. If it isn't just a straight swap as far as switches go why not wire in a 'lights on' buzzer thus avoiding any future flat batteries?
  5. The Aero blade design is generic and can be found on many new/modern cars now... I wouldn't think it'll be all that long before you can pick them up in Halfords!
  6. You could use sticky back velcro (spelling?) on the headlights or some small self tappers in to the plastic surrounds... the reiger ones recomend the latter for fitting but I'm not sure I'd want to screw anythin in to my light surrounds :?
  7. Yeah it's all covered in there... and there have been plenty of other threads on this subject in the past too that I'm sure a search will turn up 8) Best of luck sorting it out 8)

    extended sills?

and they're still more effective than standard
  9. would be happy to have that little lot... might even consider selling the C
  10. I'd have thought you'd be able to pick up a space saver from a scrappy for a lot less than £60... How long were you running on the s/s to get through all the tread? EDIT: DOH! Dinky beat me

    extended sills?

Front bumper should be about right but the back may be a little higher - not that it would look wrong imo... would like to see more pics of that C too - looks V nice 8)
  12. Mine rub slightly on full lock - which tbh didn't suprise me... can't say I'm all that bothered either as it's only slight - spacers may resolve the issue though 8)
  13. Yeah lovin the 'shop work there... shame the black to the right of the hood bleads over it slightly though - but like you said life's too short  Lovely C too... bet your glad to be back behind the wheel again! Top choice on rims too 8)
  14. Looked fantastic today at the SE meet... paints V good quality and those sills are tip top 8) Looked newer than my 28 day old Passat :D
  15. the tyres look like they have white walls in that pic
  16. If the vehicle left the factory with them then yes they do have to be there... however certain MOT stations have been known to miss them if there is no trace of them being there... it's your risk at the end of the day
  17. Looks like fog and indicator to me but with smooooth recess... looks good though 8)
  18. You can see one in the Karmann factory/museum afaik 8) There was a thread about the cabs a while ago - will prob come up with a search ;)
  19. Well for the £4K saved buying this one over a mint one that shouldn't be a problem should it ;) Congratulations on your new C harry and best of luck restoring it to former glory... it's always nice to have a project/labour of love/money pit in your life - especialy when it's a Storm 8)
