So what did you do to your C over the bank holiday??
kongo127 replied to 24V Renshaw's topic in General Car Chat
I washed my G60, it was very dirty! Now that it is cleaned, i can see that it´s needing a nice painting... Gotta save up some money... :( This brand new charger has took away all my savings... :? But it worths, the car is running really better, so i went for a nice and calm ride, as it helps for the charger running period too! :) -
Don´t think too much! Go for the G60! 8) It is a good tunenable car! Just make sure to pay attention to your G60 charger, about rebuilds and stuff... Enjoy the supercharged world! :D

Suberb photos dude! 8) Lovely cars too! :D -
I´ve got a Bosch fuel filter, Bosch auto-parts are not that expensive as people think (here in Portugal). So why go for other brands? Your car runs like VW because of the his quality parts. That´s what makes the difference! The fuel filter is easy to change, watch out for the fuel spray in your face! It will leak some fuel from the hoses, not much from the fuel tank 8)

A Porsche Boxter? Really? Awsome! 8) What are your car specs?
-
I´ve got a dodgy wheel bearing at the front drivers side (LHD). It comes noisy when i press the brake pedal at higher speeds! Boy do i hate that noise! Not expensive at all, just need more time to change over...

Yeah! A Litre per 600 miles... You deffeniatly have a problem! Aren´t there any signs of leaks? Is there any smoke? Does the exaust smells like burned oil? That is very strange... My G60 needs a not even a litre of oil for 10.000 Km! 8) And my charger is leaking oil (to help this). Be carefull! :!: Stay in touch with the forum! You have big experts around here! :D

It is totally OEM. I am waiting for a brand new charger for her. Then i´ll drive sometime and then go for the 68mm pulley and a stage 2 SNS chip with 3.5bar fpr... Later i am thinking to change the cam shaft to 260º one. I wonder how much power can i get with all this... Any clues? Regards from Portugal! Where C´s are very rare...

VAG Parts A2 Gear Knobs are Corrado G60 Compatible?
kongo127 replied to kongo127's topic in Suppliers Forum
My knob has a wrench inside. So it can be screwed... I wonder if the wrenches are the same  -
They are the aluminium type! Pretty nice! :) Can anyone confirm if they are compatible with my 1990 Corrado G60?
-
Yeah nzgti is right! Check your hall sensor and wiring! I am pretty sure that it is a ignition problem! Try to start the car with the main high voltage plug out of the dizzy and aproach it to nearest ground to see if there´s a spark! If so... then check the rotor, dizzy cap, wiring cables to spark plugs... Stay in touch! :)

I finally got a brand new gauge panel from a VR6 to put in on my G60. :D It only fits correctly if you remove the ashtray and the lighter. It seems that the gauge panel is a little bit taller than the old cassette compartment that i had before... Does anyone had already did this modification? How did you do it? I am thinking to cut a little bit of the top of the panel gauge. Just afraid to broke or scratch it, they are so shiny! What is the best way to cut it? :?: Who knows the correct pin-out of the background connector?

My G60 is all standart and the oil temperature is always between 90ºC and 98ºC on normal driving. When i go to the highway at high speed 200km/h it goes up to 115ºC. Remember that i live in hotter country... 8)
