i'm fitting a golf G60 i/c to my corrado, and have bought seperate samco hoses for the fitment, the throttle body inlet is 60mm and the new hose that i have for going on here is 63mm (assumed it had to be a little bigger to fit over) will this be to big, will it leak boost or can i just tighten it up? also the sensor (i guess) that was on the plastic pipe from i/c to throttle body inlet, will this need to be incorperated into the new pipework, seen the ally pipe that henny has got from germany but do they do the pipe seperaty? anyone know cheers in advance

one of my mates had his window carfully taken out, all stereo nicked then the window was carfully placed on the back seat, hmm thoughtfull little buggers

sorry to hijact this but as for the sensor that is on the original boost pipe goin to the inlet, i am replacein all this pipework (golf i/c), will i need to cut the plastic pipe up so it's only small is just the sensor and put this between the new pipe workor can i leave the sensor off

unfortunatly so, the man Brian Burrows sent an email around stating the fact and urging everyone to protest on the DVLA web site, personally i reakon a mass VW meet in the center of london, be a laugh

recieved an e-mail the other day with the governments new plans structure for taxing, on pre 73cars, there gonna scrap-it and make us pay, as you said its fun to go to the post office and smile when they say FREE, and we all know that being happy is not allowed in this hell hole!!!

well gonna leave the standard head on so i can RR and take it down the strip and see whats what, then do the head and cam and see if the money was worth it, then go see misure darren, then go see misure vince, then misure.... you get the picture! and as the RR is only 5 mins and pod only 15mins away i can nip between each mod, it's not so bad here!

great, i thought i was gonna have to spend a week going up and down the M6, and yup the engine will be fully serviced (plugs, leads, oil/filter, fuel filter) before and oil change every month after, next question then, got a polished and ported head and a cam to go in how many miles running in should i cover before fitting this (i know i could have done this in the first place but just wanted to get it running first), probably gonna go to the No-rice RR before to see what it'll put out any way and as for crashing again, i drive like a sunday driver now im so scared of the road, my wife drives more eratticly than me

just wanna know the best runin for my car, had a new S/C and had just completed 1000 mile before i crashed the car, the engine had been sitting for about 10 months but was turned over a few times, shall i do another 1000 miles or can it be less also should i use different oils, for the process one to do the runin and then is it semi sinthetic afterwards cheers

same old boring question, but can't find one simple answer through the records, BOOST RETURN REMOVAL Air filter on charger R/H/S (personally i am) or Blanked off Mini KN filter on top of cam cover Thin netting over butterfly valve (to stop foriegn objects goin in) and ISV?? is that all correct bar ISV question again sorry, amend,make it a FAQ and this can be never asked again

AME of Berlin had a MK1 Golf 8V G60 drag car with 330hp ooohh!! anywhere i can get any details of his car so i can compare my G60 drag car to it, also any times that he or you get on the qtr mile. -

i have also been advised in this way, standard air box with panel filter and big air feed, beats any aftermarked air filter.
