If the handle and clip isnt available and its only the clip your after if you order the release cable from VW it comes with the clip

As title, what are the advantages of converting the 1.8 16v to a 2.0 lump and how do you do this? I've just brought another Rado after selling my VR6 converted 93 one (still have my 95 VR6). I've brought a 1.8 16v J Reg 91 with 95K genuine miles, and am wondering apart from the difference in performance what other gains can be had from converting it to 2.0?? Also how is the conversion done, is it just the bottom end of an 2.0 ABF engine??

Has just passed MoT so will have 12 months ticket. Was originally a 2.0 16v but had 2.8VR unit fitted by previous owner who works at PSi Tuning so engine is professionally fitted. All chains and water pump changed before fitting so no need worry about any of this. All electrics work fine. The car is pretty much standard (apart from engine upgrade) has 5 spoke compomotive alloys and cat back stainless exhaust.Runs and drives really well feels quicker than my other Rado which is genuine VR.
