ok, another way of testing the loom, is next time put a wire from the solinoid to the positive terminal of the battery, i had a simular prop with my 16v and it turned out to be a dodgy connection at the ignition end by direct feeding the solinoid you bypass all the electrics, mind you the ignition must be at the lights on position for this to work

Jeroen Dik of JD Engineering has a blue 16v G60 on 18's there aws some us corrado in pvw i think with 19's on it iirc
-
yeah there are at present 3 16v g60's in ireland, soon to be one or 2 more
-
yeah its the blue one alright, its a vw motorsport engine in it! its a fantastic setup but us rhd people have to do it a lot different as the alternator would be in the middle of the servo if we did that system

I am wondering does anybody know where i can get an inlet for a charger. i saw on matey matey, its a sleve that bolts onto the inlet side of the charger so you can put a samco on something on the inlet to filter. Thanks

i think it is fair to say that a well modded corrado, with the right suspension brakes and tyres can shame a lot of more expencive cars! A mate has a 250bhp corrado, well thats what it was before he went mad with the engine!, abd that car was quicker round a track than porsches and m3's but again its to do with how competant the driver is and how well he knows the limits of his car too! my 2pence worth

sorted, found it on the vastness that is vortex

Does anybody know the length of the con rods in a mk2 8v gti? I am wondering are they the same as a G60 rod, i know the 16v ones are longer as the pin is higher in the piston, ie closer to the crown. Thanks

some of what henny said is true, you need chassis mounts, look at dutchdub for some and you need to change the inner cv cups from the 6 speed box to those from a beetle 1.8T the major disadvantage is the weight of the box itself
