Here is my dilemma I have got a massive crack across my window screen. But my tax and mot run out tomorrow! So I can’t tax my car until I show a valid mot which ran out yesterday, I can’t get an mot with out getting my window screen fixed, and I can’t claim on my insurance coz I’m only third party! Just got a quote from Auto Window screens, they told me that all corrado’s came with a tinted green window screen, funny as mine looks very clear to me! And they quoted me for a clear one: £513 + vat and for a tinted one £460 +vat,… does that sound right and can I get one cheaper any where else,…any advice would be much appreciated

you crazy lot i got 136mph on the new m6 toll road that cuts through Birmingham (No cams!) and sh1t myself! think i'll stick to Sunday drving much more sensible...

I have not been out in my car for 2 months and not been on here since the RR Day @ Dub Sport. I have got a company A4 and have been debating whether or not to sell my beloved Corrado. However after getting in the car for the first time to day and giving it a good old thrashing down Blackpool prom, hell no the car is staying! The grim factor on my face says it all, the Corrado is the best performance riding car I have ever driven and it will continue to bring a smile to my face every time I driver her. :lol: :) :) :lol: :D :D

Die young, die big, die hard, dianabol....as my gym mate would say! but what i say is: DIE YOUNG, DIE BIG, DIE HARD, DIE IN A CORRADO! Life if for living not just existing and if you wonna feel alive then go buy a Corrado is what I say!

Parked up next to a purple 2.0l 16v on an M plate in the high street of Market Harbour in Leicestershire on Thursday between 3pm and 5pm,....ummm was very nice but not as nice as mine!

I'm sorry to say but i don't like what you have done to the seats! but you have done a very nice job with the no door handel job, very fluid indeed.

I have been ferrying around my family this Crimbo and my lanky cousin with his big banana feet has stood on and broken the plastic part for the passengers front seat height adjuster, this is the one on the left hand side of the seat located in the foot well. Does any one have any spares for sale???? or know where I can get hold of one cheep?

I have a 93 k plate 2.0l 16v does any1 know what parts of vagcom will give a read out on my car??

This *really* does help. My shift quality was deteriotating too. Turns out all the road salt and other winter associated crud gums up the cable mechanisms on the box. I literally soaked the whole area with WD40 and the shift quality improved instantly. Prolly a good idea to apply WD40 on the box and engine periodically over winter. Can easily be washed off again in the spring, ready for Summer S & S. K Cheers guys i will arm myself tomorrow with a can of wd and see if this helps! I'm gonna book her in with Dubsport i think for a full service and get those little niggily things sorted out.

Ice White, have you got vag com on a lap top? If so where did you get it from and how much? And what type of a dongle are you using to connect to the port?

Stiff Gear Shifting! Just want to ask if it’s just me or could there be a problem. My gear shifting seems to be a little stiffer and less easy to engage gears than it use to be. Before it seemed very light, effortless and very fluid to change between the gears. Could this (stiffness and no punts!) be ware, or maybe gearbox fluid required and if so how do I know it’s running low? My clutch is sticking half way up and I have to pull the pedal up with the front of my foot! Apparently this is a common problem with the slave cylinder on Passats, could this be causing the stiffness? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

ehh the joys of body shop sprays! My m8 had a 5turbo resprayed and it was 6months before he got it back! The trick is to knock up a legal doc for ya pc state in the finish date and the cost thats been quoted by the body shop and hold them to it, if not the price goes down each week they dont finish the job by 20%!!! just an idea.

ummm very nice indeed, i think corrados can look very stunning in white.

Hey Big_Mac whats the site where you are buying the system from as i'm currently looking at a lilliput monitor system with vagcom fitted?

ahaha what are you lot like! Can just confirm thats its the heater controls and not the speed dials we are talking about, because my heater knobs don't light up/illuminate at all in the dark! i just thought they didn't light up or do they?

yeah cheers guys mine tends to read 110 only after 4mins of 30mph driving, i have now started to keep an eye on it! my water temp sits around 90-92 and in heavy trafic up to 100.

Oh yes well up there with Henny, on those cars eps on the Lancia Delta Integrale as my dad had one, a left hooker as well with swiss plates! He had to get rid tho as he clocked up 6 points in 2months hahaha
