  3. right guys as some of you know i was debating what to do with my white corrado i decided to sell it to buy a better one in a month or so anyway that didnt happen as this corrado came up on ebay locally and i knew the car from shows it was listed in the wrong place so i snapped it up at what i think is a very good price i still have to sell the white one. The car is a 1.8 16v with 150,000 miles on the clock it has full vw service history untill 133,000 miles. Its had loads of new parts including a recon ,steering rack brake master, brake lines, tie rod ends and top mounts, distributor, centre box etc etc it has been recently resprayed and the paint is absolutly mint it was done with the windows in but done well its got a full factory fitted grey leather interior in great nick the leathers nice and subtle remote central locking sony stereo etc its got a months mot and tax it needs new rear brake pads exhaust backbox and could do with some tyres soon anyway heres the pics let me know what you think the only main problem is the fact the last owner attempted to roll the arches not very well this is the worst one but they all have some small cracking of paint right on the edge of the arch but i should be able to touch that up and you cant really notice it its just this one which i might have to respray so how much do you think i paid?

  8. right guys as some of you may know i was thinking about selling my corrado anyway i have been made an offer for the car and would like to know what you would value the car at its a white 2.0 16v with 182,000 on the clock it has a very good condition full black leather interior ,lenso bsx alloys with nearly new hankooks all around, jetex exhaust, and has recently had a fair few new parts such as new cat fuel pumps lambda sensor clutch master cylinder and slave ,heater matrix and track rod ends everything electrical works and it runs spot on know for the bad it has been resprayed white quite badly and has some quite alot of orange peel and the windows werent removed the roof rails have been filled in and are cracking and under the bonnet is blue as is the whole inside of the car due to an idea the previous owner had (the car was originally green) it has six months tax and mot please could you pm me ideas of value for the car as it stands know as im not sure here the photos a shot to show what i mean about the blue

  12. afraid not mate as the guys before me sprayed it with high build primer and didn't flat it properly after so i have wet sanded as far as you can if you go further you get primer dimples coming through because they didnt flat the primer properly
  13. i get around 32 on normal driving and up to 42mpg on constant motorway runs but my mfa never goes above 35mpg though but i worked out thats not right hope that helps
  14. right guys after some advice really i am unsure what to do with my corrado ive had it around 9 months and love it. My corrado isnt the best the engine is sound it runs great everything works its got full leather and ive done quite a bit of work on it such as new master cylinder, slave, new exhaust ,new wheel bearing and rear lights. The paintwork isn't great its been resprayed white badly on the outside and its quite orange peely in places i have wet sanded it to make it look the best it can but the roof rails have been filled and are cracking and under the bonnet has been painted blue it looks great from 5 to 10 foot or closer to the untrained eye but the paint is really annoying me. I keep contemplating selling the car so i can buy a better one but would it sell or should i stick with it and respray it one day thanks ross heres some pictures everyday i see cars the look alot better broken so not sure what to do its a 2.0 16v
  15. the sunroof will most probably be a problem with the mechanism not an electrical issue the spoiler will probably be down to the control module which tells the spoiler to go up and down and when not sure about the windows but im sure someone with more knowledge will be able to help further thanks ross
  16. i have a full mk3 roof in my corrado the glass doesnt fit that well it sits proud in the middle but it all works fine and i have no problem i had to space the whole mechancism down to get the roof to fit the best i could but i only paid 20 pound for the lot so ill live with it thanks ross

  23. your car needs the lambda sensor i would imagine as when i got my 2.0 it ran like crap turned out the guy was running with no lambda sensor plugged it back in and ran great as the lambda effects the fueling when the cars running so i would suggest that could be part of you problem hope that helps thanks ross
