  1. ok after running a DTA which is identical to a Emerald i would chose the g60 digi with a great chip trust me if you want a easy, reliable, drivable, cold start etc keep to the digi as unless you spend £2000 for a proper standalone but then if you just want straight out power and only drive every other weekend hell go for the standalone but u need alot of patiences
  2. cool i dont mind u all know me always willing to help plus its suck a cheap easy conversion to do and worth while if your runnign big power :D
  3. well if i get enough peopel together he is going to try and get it as close to £375 as possible Anything less people buying it has to be £425 due to the price increase on the bolts on seats behave :( i can provide a breakdown on prices for you guys so you know what im talking about also Brain at the mo the only standard disks availble but i know the pads are amazing!!!!!
  4. ok guys been speaking to my supplier and he just told me the the 5 stud kit only fits on the mkIV golf bora hub/hub carrier assembly which is slightly different to the corrado and mkIII range. I dont know if you can put the hub/hub carrier assembly on the corrado
  5. didnt want to be the first person to use this thread but heres my story :- I posted up a while ago that I wanted late style clocks (http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6434). I got a pm from "bigpants baby" stating he was breaking a vr6 and had late style clocks he would sell to me. It would take him ages to answer back (which I don’t mind as I can understand people only check their emails once a day, or don’t have internet access all the time etc) but we got agreed a price of £52 for the clocks delivered and he confirmed they would be mine. With that my mates 16v abs sensors had gone in the front so I asked him about abs sensors as well and again took ages to get any answer out of him, (this is over a three week period) I then emailed to chase him for both items on Monday 26th night and he pm's me back saying sorry sold the clocks and nothing else. I pmed him back with my disappointment and still haven’t had any answers or apology or anything. I was fuming as it had taken me ages to get any information out of him and worse was that he wasted my time in which I could have bid on ebay for the same style of clocks and then he sells them to someone else with out considering the original buyer!!! Sorry but Im a old skool guy where word of mouth means a lot to me and cant stand when people go back on their words, so just a heads up of my experience with the person.
  6. Pete go for the Audi TT, R32 and S3 setup Think it uses a 300+ mm disk and should bolt straight on
  7. well ive got the best a F* lol oh crap thats not good F* & 2.1 16v = bad news lol :(
  8. mate well done you picked a great car to own Pity you gone to g60's  lol only kidding guys before you all shot me  anyway like you said just keep it going and trust me keep away from body mods there more than head aches dont i know it
  9. well i think for a londer breakers they are well priced if you go to others they charge more for the same things
  10. hello guys ok got speaking again to my supplier and he does do them but but the price has gone up due to the bolts. Seat has raised the price silly But he did said if we can get 10 people together he can lower the price due to he can get macthing bolts but not from seats but as good. So basically I already know one guy who would like a set Is ther 9 more of you that is willing to do it. Also i wouldnt be plannign to do it until end of feb/march as still paying for xmas lol
  11. or if you want see if you can find the owner to the seat and ask him if you can put your wheel over his brakes jst to test and see what happens??? just a idea
  12. yep thats the ones :D :-P these kits come of the big boy seats  also youl have to ring round to audi brakers mate and see if there is any about, sorry best i can do mate
  13. sorry guys but these things are absolute crap if we all wanted to save money on fuel etc we wouldnt buy corrado's and all be driving the new generation TDI's just my 2p's
  14. Tinsman for the 4 stud version you can get away with some 16" wheels but which ones they are i have no idea Also Rack thats cool :D and like everyone says they are a amazing piece of kit and amazingly cheap and so easy to get parts like i said before Im still waiting to fit mine on as ive been really lazy but once on i should enjoy them ;)
  15. ok here is a few answers first of all you need to tell me for which car ??? vr6 (5 stud) or 16v, g60, 8v (4 stud) 1, For 4 stud cars the disks are 310mm and on 5 stud cars the disks are 325 2, price for 4 stud cars is £375 last i remember price for 5stud cars £850 +/- (seat got wise after realising people where using the 4 stud car as conversion's) 3, yes you do need big wheel to go over the brakes If there is enought interest I will get finaly figures together, at the mo its not all confirmed
  16. Rack why dont you use the the Audi UR caliper which are 2 pot. Trust me having more pots doesnt mean great massive breaking power lager disks means great stoping power. Like a racign drive said "i rather have 310mm single pot over 280 4 pot setup". just my 2p's worth
  17. WEll they are and there not You start off with £140 x 2 =£280 Then you need to have special disks, bell housings and brackets made up and from what i was getting qouted is about £200 then you need the pads and brake lines. So your basically looking at £500 with the brembo kit they are all VAG parts so when ever you need disks or pads just go into your local dealer (prob only seat but that shouldnt be a prob) and order them. Also willwoods are known to flex under heat. Last bit not least I had the brembos up against the porsche GT3 calipers I had and the surface area of the pads is the same it just looks like the porsche ones just had more metal round them making them a bigger heavier caliper
  18. for the brembo kits onto corrado they need to be specially made and most companies localy that do hydrulic line for machine world will be more than glad to do it for you
  19. chris corrado do you have a heatshield on yours? if not if you have that stovec one your dragging to much hot air into the engine which is not good also i have avr6 induction kit on mine but then i dont have the normal 16v fuel system
  20. Hello guys I did two group buy sfor the brake kits about a year + ago. I got them at £375 everything included except brake lines which u need to get made up and from wht i hear they are about £15 + Also i can get the big kit for the 5 stud cars aswell If you guys want I can get in contact again with my supplier and get a group buy going again?? also iif we get about 10+ people i should be able to get them even cheaper Also i do not make any money of this the payment goes straight to the supplier not me so there is no middle man

2L bottom end bolts straight in no probs :D The port and polishing depends on the company who does it cant really say Yes the 50mm Inlet are on the late 16v golf's and sometimes even 1.8 16v corrado had them and again bolts straight on :D Last but not least the down pipe bolts straight on and if you get a CAT by past ull realise alot of back preasure that the first silencer on the down pipe causes so the car should rev alot quicker etc and better pull on it :D

Hello Karman The basic mods i would go for which are tried and proven is:- 2L 9A bottom end Port and polish your head Port and polish the inlet and exhuast manifold to match the head work Get the 50mm inlet if your car doesnt have it K&N panel airfilter Drill lower half airbox on the headlamp side and wing side, Also remove the snorkel and plastice trim behind the headlamp Get the exhaust down pipe from a G60 or 2L 16v that has the 3 bolt attachment (where the CAT is usually attached to) and get a full stainless steel exhuast system from there back. All that should not really cost you more than £1000-£1500 depending where you go etc but you should see a health 160-170bhp
