guys those just look like standard S2 items to me ive been running these on my car for about a year now very happy with them the pad takes 1/4 of the discs but there built for 278 S2 setup so means ull have a outer lips which didnt bother me and off course some of the pad on the inside wont get used. But overall worth the mod :) germans and state guys been doing it for a while as i think they come on audi 90 or 100's aswell

got to agree with gradeAfailure if its a choice of the 16v lump and the G60 ive got in mine now 16v wins there just drivers engine in my opnion always willing to do that extra bit ;) and the fact these engiens can be tuned up so nicely makes them my fav the only thing thats come this close in my opinion is a R32 lump nice and revvy VR's seem to take the lazy route nice to cruise in and nice and torquey as for G60's well for the miles ive dont it mine i say its close to a VR smooth and torquey but still fail to find this "g thing" people talk about that madly in love with their G60's but then its each to their own

well to giveyou a idea mine with about 80% map done was well on par with a golf supercharged vr and still ahd alot more in it

yeah but you werent complaining where you lol also nice to see Paul's engien lives on and didnt know Nick got a mkII now also yeah there is nothing like it unlike Pauls mine on idle was well quiet just a faint noise of "something" but when you let rip OMG would everyone down the street turn round and look to see what the feck it was :D ah great times they really where :) perosnally if i was to supercharge a 16v again ill do it with a vortech charger otherwise say hello to mr hybrid turbo he is your best friend lol

Hello guys Ive got a mate with a mk3 GL with a prob on his box even thou its been serived still clunks once in a while and holds on to gears weve been given loads of reason what it coudl be but nothing specific anyhow ive seen a few mkII auto boxes on 1.8's and wandering if they are the same units?

double-6s - nah mate im not but vw did do shit witht he handle design just look at mkI's and mkII thats why they sell those metal plates to add protection and plus knowing it happened to me its easy to see why

double_6s from my own opinion there is one very good reason why i did this mod and good enough to justify £600 i can break into a corrado in 15 sec's with the original shitty handles and coming to my car one night and seeing someone had tried but clifford must have put them off was good enough for me to put them on. Ok i choose the A6 ones as they suited the car the best but i would love to see someone now try steal my pride and joy without smashing a window its just not going to happen so is it worth it yes it is Also Woody its good to hear John is doing well i might try droping him a call over the weekend :)

thats cool just take ur time making sure u get them both perfect i.e gaps etc yep remember cheesy's c corrado when it came out ;) mine had them for about 4 years now as it was about a year i had the car someone tried to nick it and it the only way i could think off that would stop people nicking my car without breaking a window FurkiG60 - not really mate very simple to make up "the arm" ive actually did a touch so u can only open my car a certain so that if im sitting at lights no one can open my door without me asking them lol ;)

ok all depends what door handles ur doing Ive got A6 handles on mine and as far as i know i was the 2nd car in the uk to do it (Tom supercharged Vr had it first) any how i know of no probs with the early door handles but with the late style like mine if you dont get it right as the gap is tight first time u put ur window up u will shatter happen to a few people i know I know John (16vg60) is getting it right as we had a good talk about mine and ive had no problems at all as for pics have a look at my sig

Does anyone remember a white mkII turbo diesel which was very modified that used to do 1/4 miles and was pritty quick the owner used to have a website for it can someone help me find it?

Just looking at that challanger engine I can just see people buying them and slapping a vortech charger straight on :D enough room for it i hope they well balances as would make them into great driving machine

you know what mods lock this up as people cant read ive already said this thread is not about reserving parts for people just advise but seems no one can follow that why do i ever bother :roll:

woh my spelling poor maybe i should go update my spool checker :roll: as for, its "such a shame to break a nice car" well its my decision people done it for less on here and in the end of the day im not going to throw more money into it still got MOT and TAX to get for it unless you know someone thats going to pay my price without those things? its just had a recon charger full service, including new sensors for engine, fluids change etc to justify the price but as ive not really had any serious enquiries and i know its "wrong time of the year" i dont think comes true with my class of car where the potential owner will have the money when ever for the right car, i know ive been there when i bought my car. if you dont have a good interesting point keep it to urself as im not interested in cheap shots at my decision thank you

well in honesty ive only had to do it twice in 5 years otherwise because it sleeps in a garage im lucky i leave the windows down bonnet up etc not that bothered
