  1. Hi Guys, Not planning anything quite yet but just doing my research. If I got hold of a V6 4-motion haldex set up I beleive the gearbox wouldn't fit my 20v engine, however if I managed to source a 20v haldex gearbox and use the gearbox bellhousing from the 20v box to put the V6 gears into would this be compatible and thus do the job???? Any ideas..... :?: :D Coxylad, PhatVR6... you guys might know?
  2. When I get home at the weekend I'll try and take some more pics..
  3.
  4. Don't even want to know what mine is going to be....
  5. I love those TT wheels he has got on... awesome
  6. oopps  Sorry Jay, for some reason because of the mad stretch I always thought they were 195's, oh well....
  7. hahahaha - thats funny! He deserved it by the sounds of things, hope his shop went tits up....
  8. keep the pics rolling mate, I'm interested in the arch mods as I'm thinking of putting wider rims on my porsche splits and getting the arches flared, I want to lower mine more and I can't with the standard rims which are 8.5" wide, they have 195 rubber on them though at the moment...lol What size tyres have you fitted?
  9. VWfastG60, Have you modified the arches yourself and those BBS rims look awesome, they must have wider rims on them than standard???? Wicked car..
  10. i know of a place where you can buy carbon fiber quite cheap and I'm planning on doing the roof myself. Might do the A,B + C pillars + sunroof as well, I'll see how it goes...
  11. maybe not £111 ! But I got mine brand new off ebay for about £45 !!! The manual was in Jap but you can download an english version off the website. Also people don't install these things for sh*ts and giggles, they are built for a reason and thats to pro-long the life of ones turbo!
  12. I have one and I'm going to be fitting it soon!
  13. where and for whom do you play rugby? I used to play a little myself
  14. I'm 6ft 3" and I have big issues with head space, my mate is 6ft 5" and he drove my corrado back from Wales when I picked it up 3 years ago and he said that he had to put his seat right back in order not to hit his head on the roof. Consequently I am fixing my new seats to the floorpan and this helps soo much! I have about 1" above my head now!
  15. I didn't know that, but I needed the 2 outlet version, I think yours has 3 outlets? Anyway I have 4-pot Porsche Boxster S / 996 front calipers and they work fine with this m/cyl I have.
  16. I upgraded my M/Cyl to a mk3 Golf 16v ABS version, its a 23mm one as oppossed to 22mm that the corrado has. It only has 2 outlets aswell so much easier to plum in etc etc
  17. I agree with 20v turbo, I have had to fork out loads in 'extra' bits, like a new ignition amplifier and the boost pipes + samco hoses weren't cheap either. I know I have upgraded a few bits but never the less there are still hidden costs. Fans for example! x2 kenlow fans cost me the best part of £200 after del and VAT! so you have been warned.. But don't let us put you off as they are an awesome engine (so I am told by people who can driver theirs...lol)
  18. I think he has done something wrong - his tank is far too low!!! He has 18" wheels on it mate which might help a bit. Other than that I don't know, but he still has some camber there!
  19. I tell you one thing for free they are well comfy
