    Well its going to sit a bit higher because of my interior.... but thats still not finished yet, so will keep hush for the time being till its complete, hopefully the car will get a proper debut @ E38 in sept, depending on if Jabbasport ever get their new 1000bhp rolling road finished!!!

    hi mate, my mobs died last week, it was a horrible death, it drowned in a pint of 1664... suppose there are worse ways to go.. lol. Getting a new mob on wed, will give you a ring then. Also can you explain further what you mean by "adjust the little plastic thing inside" as the plastic thing can't really be adjusted too much?????

    lol, I bought mine new. I said to the stealers that I have spent soooo much bloody money with them that I wanted a good discount on a pair of handles and matching locks, they said fine. They were £104 inc VAT normally, I got them for £50 all in... so pretty chuffed really, 50% discount brings them down to sensible money... hows the car btw? Are the arches going ok??

    yeah might be good, but fitting them is easier, its modifying them without breaking anything, which is a little more tricky...

    Finally I have got the front brakes sorted, these have been a pain to fit! My advice is use the Seat Brembos not Porsche versions....! Will post some pics soon...

    Sorry, but LR's main built in safety feature is that they don't go that fast... :lol: :? :wink: hahahahah, I did once get a LR Defender 90 Tdi up to 85mph downhill on the M25!!! but its a little like a tank on water at that speed.... lol My dad has just informed me that the £299 inc VAT price is without the radar attachment...opps...sorry. :oops:

    Basically they fit fine and look cool but they don't open the doors.... the handle mech is not pushing down on the lock mech enough and therefore its not clicking and as a result not opening the door... any ideas why this is. They are the right handles as they are off a G reg passat.. I'm puzzled! Any help would be really helpful!

    They are not a straight bolt on though, some care is needed to make them fit... taken straight from the horses mouth..

    At inter's I couldn't get the front chin spoiler on because the car was too low...hehehhe so 0mm of the ground!

    Just a quick update, been working on the project quite a lot this week. Trying to get it ready for mapping. Engine has been out and back in since inters for a few more mods to take place and I'm hard at work getting the interior ready, thus why there is so much dust everywhere.... I've also raised the suspension since inters as well to get it into the garage! Meant to be on the road in 3 weeks... :roll:

    I spoke to Karl today on the phone, he has blown his rear diff up again..! He is running the car at around 380bhp at the moment. He said that he will give me a race @ santa pod sometime but I will have 20bhp less and no dog box.. but so what I'll give him a run for his money, want to join in Alex?? heheh Ben

    Some custom work is required like downpipe and boost pipes, engine mounts are standard 16v ones...

    Still not on the road, but I hope to have it finished by August... will let you know the performance of it when I have my first drive! can't wait...!
