i saw a yellow bugatti eb110 in 93 pass us on the motorway while i was in a coach or on the way back from bath. or the ferrari 250 gto that was on the ramp at the bodyshop where my mk1 was getting done a few years back-very rare and very very expensive!!!

hello guys, the check straps on my girlfriends mk1 cab have come loose from the end that goes inside athe A pillar of the car and i cant tell how they are attached, or even how to get to them from the inside of the pillar. was thinking of welding them on the outside but im afraid the door might get stuck open as there will be no movement. does anyone know how these are fitted from the factory or how to reatteach them? thanks in advance Stel

ive been thinking about spraying the centres of my wheels lately, maybe in black or the same colour as the car. Thing is though im no good with photoshop, so if anyone fancys getting creative with the attached photo id really appreciate it. thanks in advance :thumb right:

a friend of mine went to the dealer the other day to buy sme lupo wipers but when he gave him the part number the parts guy said that vw have clocked on that these are cheaper when bought as a whole arm, and that you an only get them seperately now (costs double). anyone else know if this is true or is the partsman talking fish?

i need some help guys with a petrol issue, my mpg on mfa setting 1 is reading between 8 and 10 mpg. on setting 2 it sits on about 18 though. im doing only town driving at the minute but not that much and definately not enough to hit 8mpg. car does need a service admitedly inc new plugs but would it drink that much? has anyone got any ideas?

was rummaging around in my garage and found my blaupunkt headunit that was fitted to my mk1 back in 81 at wolfsburg. the knobs are a bit loose but it does work. is it worth ebaying?

i saw 2 yesterday within 20 metres of each other in traffic on the A406. L*** GYR- VR and another blue one which was too far to see what it was. i was in my metro though so i wouldnt dare wave :)

i think most 5 spoke wheels look good on a corrado, get the ride height right and it will look cool

thats a nice wheel, and at a good price if the wheels themselves are in good nick. i reckon they would suit the corrado a treat. its as phil said though mate, its down to personal taste. if you like em, screw what everyone else thinks!!!

Quick question, does the corrado g60 come with ABS?

the later ones do, mines a K reg and its got it. not quite sure about J though. but its easy to check. there should be an ABS light indicator to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard if its got ABS -

Was wondering if anyone knows what this is. ive got a oetinger okrasa steering wheel at home made by momo. does anyone know what the OKRASA bit means? cos i havent got a clue. dont wanna put something on my car that was meant for something else.
