  1. Happy to do some local meets if your all interested??
  2. Hello from Swansea!!!
  3. I'm jealous now as I look out the window at my flash red VR with pink door mirrors haha.
  4. Looks good Kev, and nice to see the metal underneath is in a really good state :) Can I ask how much a job like that costs? Are you just repainting or are you changing the colour?
  5. If I had a spare 5k I'd get a bare metal respray and custom leather retrim, along with some stealthy hifi and new wheels. On another car I really like the Golfs, but as a bit of fun I'd probably get a 200SX for rwd fun or an Integra Type-R. Or a Lotus Elan if you can get a tidy one for the money.
  6. Girl in work keeps calling it a Corollo?!?!?
  7. For my first one, the worst thing I did was I sold it! The second one the worst thing was not getting the alloys sorted before they ruined my good tyres.
  8. HI Roan, are there any issues with this and the maf sensor etc or will it simply bolt on?
  9. Hope you keep them, they look superb!
  10. Thanks Mat, I can't wait to get them on now! Looking for some slinky 205/40s now to make sure I dont get any rubbing etc. Then once thats done I'll have a think about possibly retrimming in leather, or maybe respraying........
  11. Haha will do! On the look out for tyres now.
  12. Hi guys, just to let you know my 15s are losing pressure all the time so couldn't wait any longer. Ordered a set of the 17s so awaiting delivery in about 5 weeks. Had to get white as a single purchaser but I'm sure I'll get used to it :)
  13. Ordered my new 17" Speedline's but got to wait 5 weeks for them to be made. Boo! Couldn't get much action on a group buy so had to settle for white, but should look very much like this (once I ever get round to fitting the coilovers I have under my stairs!)
  14. Ordered my new 17's but got to wait 5 weeks for them to be made. Boo!
  15. I plan on going up on the Saturday, though can't be certain so wouldn't want to mess you around.

I don't dislike them but I agree they probably don't suit the Corrado as much as some other wheels. I think it's a 80's/90's car and suits 80's/90's wheels.
  17. This week fitted new front components, rear speakers and a whole load of dynamat
  18. Got inspired by the thread and decided this week to update the sounds in mine... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?51423-Pete-s-second-Corrado...&p=723585&viewfull=1#post723585
  19. Been thinking about the sound system so decided to junk the old speakers fitted by the last owner and go for a simple but effective upgrade upgrade. Swapped the ancient Pioneer rears for Alpine 4625's and the Sony fronts for some SPG13 components, gettin rid o of the dash speakers completely. Prior to fitting though I went mad on the Dynamat which makes a big difference in terms of the music and also general road noise reduction. Car sounds like a little S-class now! Took the opportunity to replace a cracked bit of window trim which was like it when I bought the car. The fronts were only 50, the rears 25 and the dmat 45, but I'm really pleased with the sound quality and it was a nice and easy installation without having to hack the door cards to fit the tweeters! Plus I gave it a wash ;) Put some pics up
  20. Thanks worked a treat. car now has a totally new setup and a shed load of dynamat! Door shut thuds are now like an s class :)
  21. Afternoon chaps I've decided to replace the Nokia's in the car with something a little more modern but I can't see how the heck to get the old units out. I don't want to break the grilles but can only see one screw into the plastic pod. Do I go in from the top or from the bottom? Please help..............?????????????????

    Go-go

Loving that tape deck! Welcome to the flashers association!
  23. I'm looking at this with a possibility to fit something into the car which is not going to be visible even when the boot is open. Not looking for a tooth rattler, just a little low end fill to compensate for the small 5" front components. Anyone got one, heard one or know if it's any good? Also the dimensions are 270 x 70 x 180mm so any inventive ideas on fitment? Don't think the 1st aid armrest is big enough, but maybe behind the passenger rear panel or under the passenger seat? Failing that I could maybe fit under the boot carpet next to the spare wheel? http://www.kenwoodcaraudioonline.co.uk/productimages/display/SS-image-2010-08-04-4c598b4e6e0af.jpg
