I know we all like to avoid parking in vulnerable spaces but what about when your not there to catch em at it. Whenever I return to my car that has cars parked next to it I look to see if there is any new damage and I check by eye to see if the car next to mine could have done it, I sort off judge where their door would strike if it where open. If there is enough evidence then I'm afraid a hard sharp kick to their panel would follow. I do this every time without fail............just cause I don't see it happen doesn't mean they are aint gettin away with it. Remember this next time you return to your beloved C. Dave

I'd like to take the Jabba and make it BETTER!

I'm afraid I can't do this. The heatshield will only fit the VR6 as the duct comes in from the other side. But fear not, if there is enough demand from G60 owners then I can develop a shield for the G60.

No price yet. Until I have the finished item I won't know what parts I'm using and also how much work has got to go into each one. Can't really tell you anymore than that, except that it should be very affordable. Dave

I'm hoping to have a first off proto next week sometime. :) It will be designed around the K&N 57i to start with as this appears to be most common. If there is the demand then I will look at other makes. When I'm happy with the finished item I will let you all know and post some pics on this thread. Keep watching. Cheers Dave

I can feel a group buy coming on  -
Drewes Travel?? Never heard of them. Would be nice for someone to publish a list of places/organisations etc that give CCGB discount.

Could this be a common problem cause my C behaves like this too. I think my calipers are ok, it passed MOT last month and I know the brakes are checked. I had the Koni kit fitted 6 months back so can I put it down to axle bushes??? Car has done 76K Cheers

I've got some 17's for sale, see the for sale section shortly. They came off my Classic Green C, not too far off Dragon Green, you'll get a good idea what they look like. Dave

Let us know how you get on. Thinking of doing this on my 2.0 if the results are good. Dave -

Recently noticed the plastic surround on the door lock pin was about buggered so I thought I'd find some plastic tube, slit it and drop it over the lock pin. What could be easier and cheaper??? The door now closes much better with a more positive thud. The door now sits tighter on the door seal therefore the door and quarter panel are flush again. Great I thought until I tried to open the door. It now takes a little more effort on the handle to open which doesn't bother me but I'm thinking the extra force required on the handle will accelerate the common Corrado handle breaking problem  The plastic tube I used was quite hard, a softer material would probably help. Has anyone tried this or is there a replacment plastic part available from the stealers? Dave

Haven't started making them yet, still trying to roundup some details. Just as easy to start from scratch but am needing a VR with an induction kit fitted so I can measure up. Keep watching. Dave

I used self tapping screws and washers to go over the plastic stub that's left. Took me about 5 mins to remove the trim put screws in and re-attach trim. Jobs-a-good'en. :D
