I see you want the head to matrix, sorry don't have that one.

Another reminder to those that have fitted their short shifter to please get in touch and let me know whether you are sending your old shifter back or keeping it. This is aimed at those who have purchased last year. Don't forget there is a £10 refund waiting for you, also you can send the shifter back using the cheapest postal service. Thanks.

Hi all, Anyone interested in a South bound M1 convoy to Stanford Hall for those that are on the stand? Cheers
-
Edd, I've got one on my breaker located just off M1 J25. You're welcome to come over for a look. Cheers Dave

Andy, you still want this? -
Yes but you are 4th in the queue.

I was all set to have a gander at these this morning, I may have bought them myself.
-
It looks the same one as I've got, works fine.
-
I'll have a wander down tomorrow morning.
-
Oh yes it's sorted 100%, it was way down on power before, the error code has disappeared too.
-
I have it and can read temp, lambda and ABS sensors. Infact I've got a front left sensor that is bad told by VCDS Lite.
-
These are about a 2 minute drive away from my home, well within walking distance.
-
Took it out last night for a good run, seems to go well. Has it made a difference? Yeah I think so but as it was off the road for 4 months then the first proper drive was after the the cams were fitted I'd kind of forgot how it drove before the cams. Think I'll get it remapped now to release the cams potential. The engine does sound very quiet now. Just need to sort out a front ABS sensor and 4 wheel alignment then that'll be it for a while, I'll just enjoy it.

Anyone know how these are made?
-
Changed the 'phase sender' (the bit the cam sendor reads) last night, started it up and no error so it's all good, just need to take it for a blast later today.
-
It's a combo of a) poorly designed floor mounting, b) pulling it to one side in normal use. I'd say a left hand drive car suffers less because of the bracket design.
-
This is the reason for my tunnel bracket.

Good luck with this one, I've found it to be THE hardest piece of trim to remove. There are metal clips along it's length about 6" apart. These aren't too much of a problem, it's the windscreen adhesive that is but this only applies if the windscreen has been replaced during the cars life. You might be lucky and find no adhesive stuck to it. The knack I've found is to work your way from one end and when you feel resistance then this may be the adhesive which you will need to very carefully cut through with a sharp Stanley knife. Be patient as the trim is easily broken.

Welcome along, I'm just off M1 J25. There are a few of us around these parts.
-
Ah yes, well spotted Jim.
-
The pin should go through the seat runner hole and poke out the other side.

Looks ok to me.
