  1. Hey Jude, plastic clip arrived today, thanks a lot, let me know what I owe you. Dave
  2. Ian, that's a kind offer, thanks. Been saying to myself that I should buy one for Summer weekends so if I don't get one in time I'll possibly take you up on your offer. Dave
  3. Good idea! Not thought of that. Can you post up a link as I've no idea where it is.
  4. Thinking about coming along but don't have a tent

    cable shifter

Cheers matey, PM sent with postal address.
  6. Does the sound proofing make much difference? Mine is a little tired now and was thinking of stripping it off.
  7. Judith, I'll take yours please. Thanks Dave
  8. If it's still available then yes I'll take it.

    cable shifter

Karl, send me your email address and I'll forward the install guide for the shifter, it will explain.
  10. Have a look at the pics, check that the ends are the same as yours and that the shifter box is the same too. I can strip the cables off the box to reduce postage costs.
  11. Could I have 2nd dibs on this please?
  12. Paint looks great, well done. Shame about that spotweld on top of the tailpipe, if the tailpipe is Stainless you should get it ground off and re-polished.
  13. Thanks for the comments, I did have some oil leakage on the cam cover which I swiftly cleaned up. The oil filler cap seal almost broke up in my hands on removal so a trip to the stealer this week me thinks.
  14. Nice to see Kip and Jude again and Vag-Hag. I travelled up with Chris (G-Lad) to a limited turnout, shame really as the weather was very good considering the recent spells. Anyway just a couple of pics. Looking forward to the National Day.
  15. Sorry Karl, this is a one off.
  16. Scuttle panel is now on, fairly easy swap except removing the old 3 piece is a pain. One thing I would HIGHLY recommend doing is refitting the heater blower inlet rain cover as I could clearly see the mesh top from the end of the scuttle panel. Now I'm not sure if the manufacturer omitted to mention this in the simple install guide but I could see rain getting in there before long. You will need to trim it though at the bulkhead side as it fouls the scuttle panel. You can see it fitted in the photo, apologies for the poor quality.
  17. So I gave a clue to my engine bay plans with the manifold and cam cover, now that it's back together I'm absolutely over the moon with the way it's turning out. I wanted to do something different and it's taken a lot of thought but I think I'm getting there now. I'm in the process of fitting my full length scuttle panel which will tidy things up some more, will post up some pics when done.
