Ah crap, I'm on holiday then. -
Kev, good idea, I'll try to find time to put something together for you to sticky. Thanks
-
Do you have any high res shots you can send me and also some side-on shots? ---------- Post added at 9:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:48 PM ---------- Really appreciate the comments chaps, thanks.

I'm guessing a map for OBD2 is different to OBD1 ?
-
You're not stuck with it if you don't like it, just return it for a refund, no probs.

I'm getting a lot of interest in these particularly in this thread and it's getting a little confusing who might want one, those asking a question or those who definitely want one so I need to lay down some simple rules - if you have queries to the fit, function or availability then please ask in this thread. If you want a shifter 100% could you please PM me and I'll put you in the queue. I will be offering these for the foreseeable future so if you're happy to pay immediately but don't mind waiting then this is preferable for me as I will know exactly who wants one and can plan better. If you prefer to send me your shifter for modification then I should be able to return it in about 1 week and the price is £40, again PM me for this. Hope this is clear. Thanks Dave

Just caught up with the last episode tonight, the Jag did look nice and yes I've dropped them a text too.
-
Kev, kind words, cheers matey.
-
Yep, I'm really happy with the way it's coming along, of course it'll be back together for Stanford.
-
Add me to the list please.
-
To compliment my inlet manifold I needed to do something with the cam cover, apologies for the poor light, it looks way better in the flesh............
-
Probably 1 week.
-
Yes no problem, can you PM me please as a reminder. If anyone else wishes to do this then you need to put a note in the parcel detailing your postal address and forum name.
-
Yeah I can do that. job705, just checked again and there is no payment.
-
I honestly couldn't tell you, I have to rely on people sending theirs back and with the queue that's building up I would guess you're at least 4 weeks away.
-
I had to make some extra connections for this to work, have a look on the install thread, I'm sure I put it on there. VR6Pete had the same problem if I remember and I sent him a marked up wiring diagram, will see if I can dig it out unless Pete reads this and has it to hand.
-
Macdaddy, yes still available but there is a growing queue, I can send you payment details but I can't supply for a few weeks. job705, no payment received. Kev, feedback much appreciated. Just a note to add, return shifters need to be sent back ASAP as this is what is holding up sales for others. Thanks Dave

Andy, PM sent. There is more to come under the bonnet, this is just part of the plan.
-
Just a little peek at what is happening under the bonnet. It's a really nice textured satin Black powder, looks better in the metal, thanks to Laser Mark for throwing the powder at it.

The foam isn't as dense as the original, it's the firmest foam I could find at short notice. The spare bolster I repaired wasn't as badly worn as the one I took out of the leather seat so I didn't have to reconstruct too much. The foam I used is ok for smaller less worn bolsters in terms of reinforcement but if it's too far gone then it probably won't be dense enough.

Repaired mine myself, see here - http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?48656-Black-Metallic-VR-Leather-is-in!/page20
