when i was looking for a corado it was either yellow or blackberry 4 years later i'm glad a yellow one came up first but if i were to change now it would be a blackberry vr6 or mystic blue storm yellow looks fast even when it's parked which i just as well if it's a yellow valver rob

it's a love or hate thing no middle ground but i'm a bit biased Rob

too much that's why they didn't sell in huge numbers leading to vw stopping production way to early Rob

g60 and 16v o-60 are like that because a 16v will hit 60 (just ) in second but a g60 needs another change into third that's what i read some where it's overtaking times 50-70, 40-60that the g60 comes into it's own

carpy25 replied to carpy25's topic in General Car Chat
no don't get me wrong an accident is an accident i don't think anyone can say they have never lapsed and done something silly like drift over the white line or misstime pulling out on a roundabout thankfully 99% of he time no ones hurt but it's the way the police seem to deal differently with applying the law easy pickings on speedings etc -
thank f**k they used to make them like they still do now happened on thurday 21st 9.30 pm met a polo on my side of the road both going about 45mph (60mph road)she came around a left hand corner behind anoher car and drifted into my side of the road ,no time to brake or swerve me and the wife been in hospital most of the week she has very bad brusing and 4 broken ribs me i had broken collar bone ,ribs, and a right foot like James caan from that flim "Misery" Had it pinned wih 3 pins on Monday now in plaster for 6 week before pins are removed then more plaster then lots of physo can't see me working until the new year gutting end of my show season and won't be able to drive my corrado for months But this is the bit that's hard to take, she can,t remember what happened police calling it " a momentary lapse of concentration "and won't be pressing charges so a momentary lapse of concentration equals driving on the wrong side of the road and nearly killing us is ok by them but drifting 5 or so miles over the speed limit on a clear day with no injured bang 3 points and a fine somethings wrong somewhere

don't know if the pads have wires in them to tell if the pads are low check the hand book to see what options the abs light comming on gives you sometimes the abs sensors get coated in brake dust and stop working until they are cleaned try cleaning then with brake cleaner or similar should be ok to drive with to abs light on sorry but all i can think of no abs on my car so it a bit of guess work Rob

Aftermarket Leccy Window Switches - Help please??
carpy25 replied to PoorMansPorsche's topic in Interior
You should be able to use any e/window switches three terminals one in and two out ,each out for opposite sides of a reverseable motor ,you may also have an earth that's for the switch led .cheaper to change the two just get a voltmeter on test the wires Rob -
the fuse for the c/l and the e/windows is the same one it's not in the row of fuses but above the relays about the middle of the box hard to get at but it is there Rob
-
the bottom wheel was available in leather or plastic the colour of the band tells you if it's off a 16v or a G60 ,black band for G60 almost aiways leather and silver band for 16v ,standard plastic but with an option for leather my mate has leather with a silver band but the band just pops off so you could change it or paint it if you like Rob
-
if you have go total closurer on a key fob and you have used the key to open the car in the last few days it may be the lock is sticking from lack of use and trying to close the windows all the time happened to my mates corrado after his wife used it evey time he tried to up the window down it would go back up may just be a faulty door handle micro switch try unpluging the handle behind the door panel Rob
-
The way the window can only be opened in two places either one inch or all the way any thing else it rattles like hell and unless you want to cook the front seat passengers only way the keep the rear side and back windows clear when its raining is to pop up the sun roof Rob

The wiper not parking or not working on intermitant is a relay problem if at always been like this then someone has fitted a standard relay in the wiper relay slot if it's just started then either the relays gone or the feed to the small terminal on that relay this feed comes from the wiper lever to test the relay park the wipers half way on the screen and the put a 12volt feed to the small terminal with the ing on and if the relays ok it will park the wipers as for the turn signal the arm has a small peg that is hit by a block on the bottom of the steering wheel to turn it off it's more than likely just a worn peg Rob :)
