Absolutely! I cannot stand police using unmarked cars. To me it's just as sneaky as hiding speed cameras behind roadsigns... Well now they have to be visible from a distance, so why are the police still using unmarked cars? Think about it, if they want to slow people down, just drive around in a marked up patrol car. I was told not so long ago buy a copper that all the hand help laser guns have to be calibrated everytime they are used, and if there not it wont stand up in court. Does anybody know if that’s right? try getting a set of old (standard golf gti) tweeters, 8) you know the crappy nokia ones (stick to mobiles guys) :? then butcher them by cutting the tweeter out of the middle, leaving the correct dia hole for your new babies :lol: then simple retro fit them into the dash, they should just drop in and the grills happily sit on top. 8) if your still struggling either come and find me at next norice in guildford or at inters :)

Good move not putting the amps under the seat, if you could fit them (which I doubt) they would not get adequate vetilation under there and every time you ran them louder than a mouses whisper the thermal cut-out on them would deprive you of your audio enjoyment! :shock: ...............especially if youve got seat heaters in your C !!!! :roll: Go careful if you make your own grounding point in the boot that you dont go all the way through the floor into the top of the petrol tank!............. :mad: Sounds like youve gone about it in the right way as well, as everyone else has said RCA's and good OFC cable are ok together as theyre essentially the same signal just one of them is amplified. :) The crucial thing is to keep all the power cables routed away on their own. :shock: Leaving all the existing cables in situ is also a good move as it allows you to restore back easily should you wish to. :) Good luck 8)

I put mine where the standard ones were :) Best thing to do is to make yourself a little mounting plate that fits over the cut out and then cut a maller hole in the middle to take your tweeters. :) I then usually stick the crossovers directly beneath them and then they are superbly located ready for the door speakers :D The best thing is that no grubby little theives can see your install and the sound is superb, Because the glass reflects the sound back into the car the directional nature of the tweeters hit the window at such an angle that the sound is effectively fired straight towards you!.....................Bingo superb sound and no obvious tweeter install! :D 8) Good luck 8)
