i'll be there, is it worth tring to arrange a meeting point, or are you all going to park where you please.? would be good to get them to park side by side in the main area.?! should be there by 8.
-
i bought a tail pipe from there £20 welded it on me self. but they can do all of that. :D
-
go the one of the power flow centers, the quality is excellent the warrente can't be sniffed at they'll fit it and it will probably be cheaper than any after market company, plus if you ask them they can produce performance exhausts which don't sound louder than standard, if thats want you want, highly recommended by me and lots of other forum users.

i've seen peoples power graphs, whicj have shown them to have much more power than they should, and the cross is about 5400 - 5500, wird.?
-
as i under stand it, if the torque and hp dont cross at 5250 then the rollers are twicked and the out put is no good, as the equation is based on this, ?

for it to be thatcham approved all connections need to be soldered. to install it your self may seem like a good idea at the time but don't, take it to a registered out let. one you know or one that a friend has used and liked, i know of a radio dealer who used to employ pikies, once they had installed the alarm, and taken the address down, they then would go and nick all the stereo out, a few months later,, i've also got the auto start on my clifford concept 300, it's a good peice of kit, there is no way of know if the car is in gear, if you do start the car in gear,( done it once in 2 years!) the car know the starter motor is strugling and stops the starter motor, 3 times and it gives up. but once you have it fitted you get into practice of leaving it in neutral., it's very handy in cold mornings, set the heater onfull the previous night and in ten mins the car is lovely and warm. a defo must, plus it quite cool to shock people from a distance, :D

where do you get the glass from.?? stealers.? i've got a hole in one, :(

i had the plate made up, the air filter i bought at an air cooled vw show, only £8, it's more show than actully go, but i thought it seems better than the blanking plate, if you do remove the boost return pipe the noise from part throttle and gear change is v loud, and wil pi@@ you off after a while, to combat the noise get a section of hoover hose, and connect it to the boost return hose then tie it up and run it under the car,(see pic). this way you dont get the woooshing noise and constanst drown of air blowing on to the bulk head. hope this helps.

cant you just put on a 205 or 215 tyre so it gives the stretched look? these must be awesome wheels if your concidering changing the axel over.
-
all sounds like way too much hassel to me, leave the wheels on , then weld an extra arch over the protroding wheel, easy, :evilbat:

wont make a bilnd bit of difference, when using intercoolers or charge cooler etc that few degrees it picks up from the engine soon gets cooled, the heat shields are a good idea but mostly on natur as engines, and it's still only a mith, as when tests are done on cold air systems and shields it never reveals any improvements, on most nat ast engines the inlet manifolds are heated .!! the extra filter on my charger is really for show more than any thing, and it only cost my 15 quid, bargain,
-
dont get a dump valve, it sounds shite and you will look like a willy. loose the return pipe catch the oil, and blank off the charger, or do this,... 8)
-
check or change your blue coolent sensor, these are inexpensive and when they go it tricks the ecu into thinking the car is always cold, so it's too rich at low revs but when you floor it it picks up fine. also check timing,

poor chap, it does scare me sometimes, could someone start a poll, it would be interesting to know how many chargers have blown up, specs, mileage, pully size, was it ported etc and by who,.
-
brillent mod, i'm still to do the rear, it looks odd with small silver rears, i heard that you can get 256 polo disks for the rear, how does thar work, cos the rear bearing is all different.???
-
apparantlly, standard g60 ones. looked the same, felt the same. i'm going to take it all off this weekend, make sure everything is sitting correct, and i've just had it all laser enlined. must make sure i score is all up or it'll be a waste of a ton. i've fitted loads of suspension kits before, never had this thou :?:
-
when i spoke to c&r about it they said don't bother, it's only a track thing.?, i was going to get one but could never get throu to ridgeway racing. gave up after 3 weeks of tring, wanted to do it with the clutch.
-
they look SWEET. i bet they cost more than just pocket money :notworthy:
-
i've just put on koni coilovers, so i bought new top mounts from c&r, but,.. as you look at them in the engine bay, the near side sit up high and the off side sits quite low,. this means to get the ride equal i have the near side strut wound down and the off side wound up. surely this isn't right, as it will effect the rebound rate. it's the same with the rears, only the opp sides, could they be different mounts. ???
-
that sounds bloody awful :pukeright: :pukeleft:
-
on the throttle the is a small fitting, this is the ACT thermister., as for mounting. i hav a supporting bracket under neath which then bolts on to the gearbox. ( on the gear selector there are two bolts, use one of them.)
-
does sound like your matrix, and i thinks it a bitch to do., :2gunfire:
-
the charge cooler rad is to cool the water which is passing throu the charge cooler, this is more effient then an air to air intercooler, typically 6x size for size.

i had poly ones on the front, inc arb bushes, i was told not to use the rear ones as they loose the rear possaive steering and make the rear switchy ar speed, not so good. as for effect, well steering is more positive i supose, i got new wishbones with them already fitted to from c&r, good value i thought. Madjackal. the bushes on the front hold the wish bone plate in place with a bolt through it, using a stiffer material gives the front less flex which in turn gives a bettter turn in, the results are fractional, but it all helps., on the rear the rear axel is help in place with similar bushes, as you throw the car in a corner it allows the axel to turn slightly into the corner, if you replace these with stiffer ones it wont flex as much and the rear could jump suddenly, the down side to the whole thing is slightly more noise or uncomfort, to you'll never feel is the corrado is lumpy to drive from new. if fact vw should have fitted loads of other things as standard then we wouldn't have to fork out for them now,.
