Anyone know of a supplier for these wheels i'm looking for a set of traditional BBS crosswire split rim wheels i've seen these in 16" and only ever saw them once in 17" anyone know owt??
-
do you think these may be a problem on my VR
-
I bought my VR with 94k with only part service history, the guy i bought it from was a trader and he only had it it two weeks thing is i want to know if the tensioners have been changed or need changing, i ve had a good look in the engine bay and it seems well looked after, re-con gear box, new water pump etc on idle u can hear a slight rattle from the top end every 4 seconds ish or so but dont know if its the tensioners.
-
I had a simiular problem on my VR, it was a faint rattle, it sounded like it was coming form the engine somewhere but after a further look it was actually the sheild on the cat that was partially off.....
-
one of my mates 'C' 16v has this problem where one of the wheels has more camber than the other //...........did hear ffrom someone that the wishbones can be adjusted, it dint sound right but thought i'd ask y'all
-
   just trying to take off my rear discs and i cant get the carrier for the brakes off it has two allen headed bolts which fits a 8mm allen key but after a bit of force it slips............is there any other way
-
eh, that cant be right on the golf the disc and the hub are two parts wheareas on the corrado the rear disc and hub act as one........please dudes i need to know, does the corrado use the same setup as golf mk2 cos i know someone that has done the full conversion to the golf 2
-
does anyone know if mk4 golf rear discs and stub axles fit the corrado, i'm gettin hold of complete rear braking off a 02 golf gti including upgraded discs so wanted to transfer the lot.
-
i've heard that there are big gains with the 16v head on the G60, how easy is it to convert and also exactly whats bits are required.
-
my VR generates some right heat was thinkin of removing the foam stuff under the bonnet as this acts like an insulater also it will make my induction kit more noiser....any of you done this is it a gud or bad idea
-
my Coilpack on my VR needs changing, was just wondering which is best out of the two systems for tuned engines, also is it possible to convert to either or is the engine different............and do crank position sensors only come on coil pack models.
-
Just a few questions for those of you that are running nos on ur VR's Wot sort of bhp kits are you running? wot u think should be the 'max' bhp kit for a VR also how well does a VR handle NOS in terms of damage to ur engine can they tek it or do you just end up burning rings etc and last how would you describe the result low med or, NUTS!!!!
-
Just wonderin do the handles off mk4 golfs and passats etc fit the corrado?
-
i think making it fwd would kill the whole concept of having an engine in the rear its only really worth it if it fit in the back.........as far as i know these type of engines are air cooled so it would mean no water pipes or rad to deal with
-
i've got a friend in germany thats got a 3.0 turbo engine from a porsche 911 (flat 6), as far as i know these are worth good money so thought i'd buy it for the sake of selling it on,....even more i thought it would look even better in the rear of my corrado.............wot you think it is possible.?
-
i've yet to see a corrado with an engine in the rear, any of you come across one yet......also what are the pros and cons of a rear wheel drive car ........
-
I think it comes down to expense really, i mean the VR6 is a big lump so you've got to have far more potential over a 1.8 its just that every thing is so damn expensive when upgrading, maybe giv it a few more years and you'll see more kits supercharger/ turbo etc but cheaper.................personally i think if a vr6 should be used to full potential you need use the engine Capacity more by taking away all fiddly sensors etc and use the block to its full potential.........................like you've all heard 'Size does matter'.......... :D
-
okay so lets hear it, wot are the good and the bad bits of both engines, which is more tunable.............i'm soooo tempted for a 20vt transplant but dont wanna regret it......
-
I thought top end was determined on CC
-
Back to the drawing board :(
-
   wots that i see, are you sayin the vr6 is not a proper V6..............and oh i fink it is from an audi
-
got a mate of mine that wants to transplant a turbo to his vr6, anyone know if this will fit
-
what sort of bhp top speed figures are you lookin at with a re-bore
-
Since the 20vt has become such a big hit amongst all dubbers, was just wonderin has anyone come across the same engine but re-bored to a bigger cc, i should think there would be big gains with maybe a 2.0 or even a 2.2
-
evenin all, just thinkin of all the different types of engines that have been put in the corrado, was just on this american site where this dudes transplanted a cosworth engine runnin at 450bhp.....  ....., i think the audi S2 engine would make a good conversion or even maybe a porker engine........if ur crazy enough
