one of my rear shockers is leaking on my VR and i wanted to know are the g60 rears the same as i know a guy who is local and breaking a one

You should get some 15mm adapters made up but these must be made from steel rather then alloy, that would take the offset to et26 should fit much better............and oh i was going to buy the exact wheels if its zack-noor that is selling them on e-bay, luckily i found my rs301's first.

OSV, what size is the outer rim on the rs301? i dint know how they were measured, ie from the bit that sticks out of the face of the wheel or the total width of the dish

Dont know how wide the rims are but these look quality

I dont know if its just my car but i think the central locking is prob the slowest i've seen. Is there another VW pump that can be fitted to cure the problem?

flusted, did you have alot of pedal travel?

had the ignition on the pedal was perfect with the ignition off fire the car up and it decides to go futher down.

One of my rear calipers was siezed so i thought as a winter project i would give my brakes a refurb. new discs all round, pads (on front), MK4 golf rear calipers. Had to change one of the rear brake pipes too. Anyway whilst stripping the whole thing down i practically damaged everyone of the ABS sensors but thought i could sort this later. My brakes were utter shite to begin with pedal kept going down all the way to the floor!! .........i bled the whole system twice and even the two valves on the abs pump it helped but the pedal still has too much travel the brakes work but very little.............the only thing i thought it could be is the rear pads as i used corrado ones but with golf calipers..........help me pleassseeee

I've been offerd a BMC from a mate for my VR but in two minds about fitting it. I've currently got a 57i and it sounds the business anyone run a bmc on their vr but WITHOUT the cold air feed??..............i wanna know if it will sound better then my 57i

I've just tinted my rear lamps all red and wanted to know what bulbs do i need to use to make the indicator as orange as possible...........i thought maybe i should go over the bulbs with the 'Amber Light' yellow tint............any offers??

Evnin all, Just wanting to know are the door cards full leather or part. Mine are black plastic & Black cloth and from pics i've seen of the leather ones only the middle stiched bit is different.............and oh is the grab handle Leathered also??

As far as i've been told the yellow/black wire is part of the air con system. cars that dont have aircon just have the wire there its not supposed to connect to anything............i too got a bit concerned when i noticed it was disconnected

i think there called Kerscher kcs, maybe look better with coloured centres

My mate has the same RH Topline A on his e30 bmw they do come in 4x100 7.5x17.....but you can expect to pay atleast a grand as they are super rare.

Over time i've had quite a few problems with the ABS system on my VR either its the pump or a sensor playing up and i now want to remove the system is this possbile?, or will i have to take out the braking system out of a g60 and fit into mine.

I always seem to think you need the engine running, so the servo can work properly :roll:

bmw are 5x120, i've already been down the road of trying to get beemer wheels to fit a corrado and you cannot get the hubs re-drilled as the total diamiter edge to egde is 120mm the only way is to get adapters made i've got some adapters being made they are 15mm but made from forged steel rather then alloy

One of my CV's has started to knock slightly and i've got a pair of g60 drive shafts are the two compatible, at a glance there is a difference in the shaft but i didn't know if the joints are same the number of splines etc.

PhatVR6, SGi have got a set for sale and thats what their asking, honestly i did think that was a lil steep for 17's and i was in two minds about buying them.......i've now decided to leave it and consider other options.........i could cough up about a grand but thats my limit...either that or struggle like a mutha with the beemer wheels

is the g60 based on the same?

is the difference between the two just with the engine or are they different designs in chassis, i have a friend who has a g60 that has had loads spent on it, if a vr conversion was to be done will every thing bolt up as normal or are engine mounts etc in different place.

I had been looking at these wheels also they are 8x17 with a flat dish, trouble is with adapters they will be et10 so not much joy!! Edited sorry wrong pic!!, i can pic these wheels up for about 500 quid and spend a grand on arch work, either that or pay 1500 for rs301's,
