Opinions please, is it worth it or not to remove the canister (fuel vapour risks etc). I need to fit a cold air feed for my new BMC and removing the canister would be an ideal place for the feed but i dont want to do this if there are going to be excessive fuel vapours........oh and one thing if the fuel breather is just left uncovered is it not likely to evaporate your fuel quicker whilst the car is stood?

The guy who mot'd it told me it may well be that the brakes need bedding in as i had all discs and pads changed.....i need to do at least 200 miles for that

Do the plugs on a vr have to be specifically torqued and what is the ft/lb of torque required. thanks

Having owned my VR6 for a while if theres one thing i've learnt is that they generate a hell of alot of heat under the bonnet. I was looking at my engine inlet in particular and the fact the inlet runs over the top of the engine can't help the air going in, the inlet manfold itself gets pretty warm. i had this idea about modifying the inlet so the throttle body is actually attached to the left side of the inlet ........i have drawn a quick pic and apologise for the poor quality but you'll know what i mean. P.S the air filter is to be sat where the carbon canister goes........dint know how to draw it that way. Please guys be gentle..................lozzz

I've seen a few 4x4 conversions but just want to know if anyone has seen a rwd, just want to know how it would behave. i think a vr rwd would make a decent combo enough weight at the front equally with weight at the back.

Just changing my coilpack and i noticed that the wires that go on top of the aux water pump, one of which was disconnected now looking at the pump it seems like its just a plug that goes on one way only but someone has fitted small spades on the wires (plug prob broke) so i need to know if it makes a difference if they go on either way and if not which colour goes on which pin..............think this might be a long shot but worth a try. Thanks dudes n dudettes.....

godskitchen, i gotta admit u had me there dude......the only reason i put this up is just for eg if a forum member ownd my car and did happen to write it off it would save me from putting money into somthing that is not worth as much.....................everyone loves their car the only thing bieng if your not the first owner you wonder what sort of people owned it before and what it has been put through................i guess its just a 'what if' thing that runs in ur head.

Do you thinks its possible to change the subframe of a rs turbo seat to a corrado one?, obviously if its major headache its not worth it.
-
They look just like rs turbo seats

As per the various discussions on the forum the recaro interior seems to be very rare, does anyone have any pics as i've not seen one yet. Thanks
-
rite thanks, just one more thing i seemed to think the valve is self adjusting with the ride height but as mentioned the valve needs to be set if the car is lowered 40mm how is this done does it have to be done by a brakes speciaist or is it a DIY job.
-
is it somthing you can only get to when the car is on a ramp?
-
Where is the brake bias valve located on a corrado?, also does this have some sort of adjustment. Thanks
