Also both the left and right plastic air guides, that help to ventilate the front brakes on the later Corrado's are available again through VW Heritage. The left side has been available for the last year or so, which is part number: 535805825D £54.95 from 1992 to 1995 The right side one is also available now, Heritage don't keep it but can order it from Classic Parts for you. Also possibly the early style air guides are available, speak to George as I spoke to him yesterday at VW Heritage he'll confirm if they are, regarding the early ones Si

No worries, like I say grab them whilst you can as I'm not sure how long they'll be available for. I've seen these new badges go for £45 or even £50 on Ebay, back in 2012 and 2014 Si

Right ok cheers Anna. Si

Earlier on today I ordered a few more parts for my Corrado and checked a part number with Heritage that I found on the Classic Parts website, it looks like this item in question has possibly been reproduced by Classic, not sure how many are in stock or how long it'll be available for. The item is the rear VW Emblem (Chrome Special) Part number is: 357 853 601WM7 Cost roughly £17 The badge is 70mm in diameter, with the rubber backing it's 75mm Hope this helps Si

A few weeks ago I took the whole front end off my Corrado, bumber, front panel, grill, and headlights out. So I had better access to the old rotten battery tray, cut over half of old one out, and had a new MK2 Golf battery tray to hand, so fabricated it to fit, spot welded to main chassis leg and around lower inner wing panel, to be honest it does fit fairly well, but you have to cut a few bits off to make it fit flat and flush with the chassis leg and inner wing panel. Painted up and put on some seam sealer and wax oil. Yesterday on Saturday I repaired front bumper with some Unibond Apoxy Resin. Ebay item number 162984069604 Had to use that resin due to snapping off two of the retaining clips that hold the front bumper brace bracket on. And on the right inner side as the plastic support brace there, was coming away, which caused the right side of bumper to drop slightly, only by 1/2". That Unibond Apoxy Resin is great stuff, it sets in 5mins and fully hardens in 12 to 18 hours, you can sand it down or paint over it once it's fully set. Today as I've already got the front bumper off, I'll be sanding down the metal bumper brace and bumper irons, as they're rusted slightly, well the metal bumber brace is pitted in places so I'll see how bad it is. Next job after that once the parts arrive from VW Heritage is replacing both the fuel pumps, and see about fuel lines as well. Si

That is just crazy some of these prices for secondhand parts, I've seen a set of later type fog lights going for well over £300 Plus the front bumper grill going for £280 this was new but even so :suprised: And I've seen a new set of early headlights going for £650 But the winner so far for the :cuckoo: price has got to go to that Ebay seller with the Corrado interior £1999.95 :shocked!: Si

Thanks Anna for info much appreciated. Si
