selbekk 0 Posted November 30, 2005 nah, fat cows definitely got everything to do with lowering. Never measured mine, but take a look anyways :) sorry, I haven't had time to take any pics of it yet, these are from the earlier owner :) And now it's a tad higher and on 15 inch snow tires :(
GIXXERUK 0 Posted November 30, 2005 selbekk, that looks superb mate :-)
flusted 0 Posted December 10, 2005 heres a pic of my rado on different wheels and lowered more at the back so its 90mm front 100mm rear on 17s
Furkz 0 Posted December 11, 2005 1st time i seen a corrado lower at the back? normally their level or nose down which suits them only cars that are lower at the back are RWD, BMW in specific
STORM 2 0 Posted December 11, 2005 joebloggsVR69, whats the ride like on the Konig Silverline-X. I don't really want to compromise the ride too much for the sake of my spine sadly...
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted December 11, 2005 STORM 2 - The ride is a little bit firmer than standard, but then I guess you'd expect that when its lowered :) It's certainly not uncomfortable, feels perfect on 95% of the roads I'm on. Just that a small part of my drive to work is on some god awful road with sh!t loads of potholes and undulations.. Then again, when I drive my standard MK2 GTI on that road, it's not a whole lot better! :D I guess it also depends on how much you decide to lower it - I'd imagine the lower you go, the more the springs are compressed and the firmer it is? :? STORM 2 0 Posted December 11, 2005 Cheers joebloggsVR69, BTW did you do it yourself or take it somewhere? If so what was the damage in all?
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted December 11, 2005 I got it done at a garage, while it was in for the chains/clutch I dunno what most garages charge, but my place cut me a really good deal  Had the following work carried out for less than £500: - Chains/tensioners replaced - Fit new clutch & flywheel - Fit new suspension - Fit new brake disks + pads ..and they had to supply a new thermostat Bargain!!
flusted 0 Posted December 11, 2005 1st time i seen a corrado lower at the back? normally their level or nose down which suits them only cars that are lower at the back are RWD, BMW in specific Im guna put it up 10mm at back as the zorst now rattles on rear axle

Critical_Mass 10 Posted December 18, 2005 Sorry but i think some of the rados (IMO) are way too low. Even if it was only for weekends or a show piece. How you going to around in them. Could get over a stone chip never mind a speed bump or anything else that may scrape the front bumpers and underside. Still they DO look nice but i think there is a balance. EDIT - WTF was i on about - possibly drunk  dont remember writing that anyhow. Nah all looks good!
