red corrado16v 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Is it the white one on eBay...? Yes,lives just round the corner from me but i dont know him,car looks realy tidy but its the interior that caught my eye, dont think a white C with a standard interior would be very desireable to sell on again after removing the interior. passat climatronic wiring diags.pdf

pkripper 0 Posted February 5, 2006 What would the drivers seat be like after 140k?
Walesy 0 Posted February 5, 2006 The set I sold were from a car on 175k and they were in very good condition .
red corrado16v 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Might have a look at it on Tuesday afternoon before i go to work, very tempting but good point about the 140k.......thats a lot of arses on one seat....are they renowned for sagging?
gradeAfailure 0 Posted February 5, 2006 I think the Recaros tend to hold up a lot better than the standard seats... I suppose it all depends on how fat the arses in question were!
bristolbaron 10 Posted February 5, 2006 mine have done 115K, and look new... and my arse is huge! [insert google pic here] just dont image search for 'huge arse' :pukeright:
Trig 0 Posted February 5, 2006 A huge arse and smaller rest of body would actually be a good thing, spread the weight out more. If you had a tiny little bum it'd jab into the seat like a pin. Huge arse and huge body in general is bad because thre'll be more pressure all together.. :)
dinkus 10 Posted February 5, 2006 just dont image search for 'huge arse' :pukeright: Did you see the one of Bush made up of tiny pics of arses?

Yandards 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Cloth reccaros are worth as much now as they were as an option when the car was new. Work that out :?
H8RRA 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Cloth reccaros are worth as much now as they were as an option when the car was new. Work that out :? rarity and availability..... look at many cars or accessories that are now out of production - storm badges, even vr badges etc....... its nothing new
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 6, 2006 And VSRs too..... you can nearly buy an R32 lump for what some people pay for those...

dinkus 10 Posted February 6, 2006 Recaro's do nothing for me and i dont really understand what the fuss is about? Have you ever sat in any tho? Particularly for a long journey...
.Rich. 0 Posted February 6, 2006 No, but i have no problems with normal corrado seats on long journeys. Infact they are pretty damn good imo
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 6, 2006 I'm with you Rich, never understood the fascination with Corrado Recaros. In the good old days of the MK2, you KNEW when you had Recaros, much bigger bolters, nicer styling, more comfy etc etc With the rado ones you're hard pressed to tell the difference apart from the Recaro bolsters are smaller and look squashed. I think it's just one of those "I've got a rare XYZ" thing in my car, whether it's better than the original or not ;-)
Trig 0 Posted February 6, 2006 I've been saying this all along. I've never sat in a Recaro but i've been on some long journeys in my standard seats and they have stayed really comfy throughout, comfiest car seats i've ever sat in I reckon.. Still, not knocking Recaros just saying that there's definately nowt wrong with the satandard ones.
Tom B 0 Posted February 6, 2006 So there's no answer as to how much they're worth then?
dinkus 10 Posted February 6, 2006 So there's no answer as to how much they're worth then? From page 1, second post... Cloth Recaro interiors can fetch between £6-800 on a good day if they're in good nick...
chubbybrown 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Id like them more if they were a better colour. The early ford items were comfy and tastfully coloured in mk1 +mk2 turbos. they are comfy but for 600-800 quid Id expect to be waited on as well. I guess its supply and demand... dinkus 10 Posted February 6, 2006 As far as I know the cloth Recaros came in 3 different colours depending on what year/option you chose. For about 18months early on, they came in grey with a red stripe Then they came in grey with a bluey diagonal pattern Then later on you could have black 'geometric' square pattern ones Obviously, as I have the black ones, they're the best ones to have
Trig 0 Posted February 6, 2006 I think the grey ones look good in certain colour cars red, yellow... But otherwise it's all about black. :)
