Ady_G 0 Posted July 30, 2015 Oh no!! not 'the corrado specialist TCS'!? :( that man is a down right liar & cheat!!! speaking from personal experience good luck finding your old car though Oh no... typical used car salesman then ;-) Did he sell you a dog then? He gave me a fairly decent price for it considering it's market value and how much I personally would have to spend to MOT, Service and get it back on the road. I was just hoping it found another VW enthusiast to look after it, I ran out of time and it wasn't suitable as a daily driver any more with 2 little kids. I'm hoping he didn't bodge anything on it before he sold it on, he's not updated his website for 6 months plus so my car never appeared on it. Ady_G 0 Posted July 30, 2015 I think best way to buy a Corrado or any older car like that is direct off the owner. Don't bother buying off specialists if you can help it.

Dazz_G60_Wales 0 Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) Had my Nugget G60 from 2004 with 113000 then engine overheated blew the head gasket and shot the shells crawling it to work in 2008. Was in a pretty poor state then for 6 years in storage (house improvements plus other costly detours). Finally back on the road with a full respray 2nd hand Motor with no mileage history but mechanic said it was very tight. New wheels, and lots of new bits provided by some top guys on here and now just came in 3rd in the other Vw water cooled category the whole show involving over 350 Vdubs of different models at the South Wales Volksfest Filling up I was lol, over the Moon, bloody luv this Car with all their niggles ! 16VG60 1 Posted August 3, 2015 Have owned my slightly modified Inca Blue G60 for 22 years. That's probably a measure of how much this little coupe has etched itself into my world. Hopefully back on the road this year after specification revisions are complete. My aim is to have it ready for the Goodwood Breakfast Club German car meet on Sunday 1st November. timmaaah 0 Posted August 6, 2015 Bought my '93 VR 10 years ago. She had 80k now at 143k. Used as a daily driver, but was off the road for about a year whilst I was using a van for work. Have two kids (5 1/2 and 1 1/2 year olds) and find using the car with them is no problems whatsoever. Really don't get the idea you can't use a Corrado as a family car. The boot is big enough to get our gear in for a week's holiday. Been a stay at home father for the last 5 and a half years. It's quite amazing what you can get in it - I've transported a double futon complete with mattress in it before ^_^
