Rounded off allen bolt

What will remove this bolt?

Weld a hex head bolt to the top of the allen bolt :shrug: Come on someone had to mention welding surely :lol: :lol:

I would normally use the hammered in Torx myself method, but I don't have these Irwins things, if I had then I think I would use them.

Or maybe a stud extractor - looks like a tapered bolt with a hardened left-handed thread - which you screw into the rounded-out recess. I used these to remove a rounded out manifold bolt in a very restricted space.

i still say that irwins wont fit....

bet you're only saying that because you've just run out to the garage and tried your irwins on it to see if it'll fit?? Im a gambling man though and i do find it very had to

a) not accept a bet and

b)not drink alcohol-before during or after a bet so....LETS GET IT ON!!! :bonk:

Sorry but you all have to wait until Friday, Rained most of the day here so did some painting instead......

Picking up the gasket up tomorrow so i will find out then if the irwin`s fit or not!

Oh cock!

Does anyone know where i can get a set of irwins bolt grippers, found them on B&Q site, so was going there after i pick up the gasket tomorrow to get a set.

Now just looked again and they only sell them on the new online store FFS!!!!! :censored:

Does Halfords sell them?
