Jim 2 Posted March 30, 2010 Jesus.. that's one good looking car. There's a new shape 'normal' Focus RS on a drive up the road and I have to say it has enormous road presence... it's so wide and stern looking. I love it! This takes it to another level though. Heard what these sound like too? Makes me think of a big Audi with that really distinctive 5 cylinder howl...
big ben 10 Posted March 30, 2010 looks awesome!! i would buy one and use it daily if i had the money, like the RS's (the only ford i haved liked for years)
mattnorgrove 0 Posted March 30, 2010 Very nice, FWD or 4x4?

Danny B 0 Posted March 30, 2010 ooo errr very nice 8) Love the idea of matt paint but never seems to work on any car I have seen in the flesh ........although it would probably be the bank manager and not the colour that would stop me :norty:
Andy665 0 Posted March 30, 2010 Apparently the engine is to Mountune 350 spec that has been available virtually since launch. Sure to appreciate in value but hardly subtle is it - not that I'd say no to one. Well done to Ford for being the only big manufacturer to follow Renaults lead and produce politically incorrect "in yer face" models
mattnorgrove 0 Posted March 30, 2010 Well done to Ford for being the only big manufacturer to follow Renaults lead and produce politically incorrect "in yer face" models Yep, if only VW had the same kind of vision, to produce a super quick, mean as fook Scirocco. The wimps! I know the "R" is coming, but I don't think it'll have anywhere near the kind of presence that thing has. :(
Dr Forinor 0 Posted March 30, 2010 VERY nice!!! Go for it, buy it, put a deposit down, get your order in, hand over your cash, take the keys!!! :D That's one mean look bugga! I would love to have one!
ozowen 2 Posted March 30, 2010 Saw a normal RS for the first time yesterday on the A417. It looked lovely and the RS500 just looks so so mean. Yep if I was to leave VAG marquees then I would love to have one of them sat in the driveway.

Theres quite a few going about up here but Im not taken by it for some reason but then Ive never been a Ford man. No denying its ability. Its funny you should say that, because I've never actually been a big fan of the standard (if you can call it that!) RS, as I really didn't like the flagship "lime green" colour, as I thought it was too loud and in yer face, and screamed "LOOK AT ME!"..... but I find the new RS500's matt black actually changed my opinion, and because it's not as "visually" loud as a lime-green RS, it appeals to me more. It kinda reminds me of a modern day kitt out of knightrider!

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 30, 2010 Dont like the interior though... Clicky I quite like it, reminds me of the Integra DC5 interior, which is a great place to be. The seats are near perfection. I'm not sure about the exterior now i've seen those extra shots :? Looks a bit Mad Max. If that came past me I'd expect to see a severed arm on a chain dragging along the road behind it..... Sounds like a 'porn move'! google it. It's Ford's attempt at taming torque steer. Renault claim to have invented it first though.
