impressive work there. Interested in how the schrick performs with a supercharger, in terms of power delivery.
Not sure its going to make much difference fla but i didnt want to sell the schrick just yet

I think the norm is to adjust the rpm lower on the control so it opens before any serious boost goes through it to save the flap from snapping open or shut

Blue are you running a vortech then ?

Would be good to hear what you have engine wise and what power you achieved

 

Im hoping for 300 but i doubt it will get that high

Yep Vortech stage 2, schrick manifold, SP263 cams, advised it is 300+ (don't have an exact figure), defo feels like 300+ :).

 

Work was done by stealth, been meaning to give them a buzz to see if they have any further info.

With stage two and 440s

2.5 inch techtonics exhaust

 

Going to stick a walbro 255 pump in too

 

I cant see your pic as the image is broken

Have you got any more ?

 

Gives me hope of getting near 300

 

Not to fussed though as im running 3.68 final drive so it should be quick through the gearing with the added charger

Cars a bit of a mystery to be honest, had it about a month. Will dig thru the paperwork and confirm Spec. Defo does not have water injection tho, has dubpower exhaust system. Does have a peloquin lsd though with rebuilt box, puts the power down with no wheel spin.

 

Also has been polybushed, eibach arbs fitted along with koni shocks.

 

Also seems to run very cool, arround 90c, has an oil cooler,prob not A thermostatically controlled one

Man i forget how much i love this car , cleaned and ready for the summer ! Thats if the diff hold out for one more season ! Im probably being paranoid but that hasnt stopped me looking at different gear sets and different treatments for the parts inside the box , cryogenic freezing , shot peening and superfinishing not sure what to do yet but it needs a diff so i best get saving for a wavetrac

 

Anyway still waiting for mapping so just been going slow everywhere for now !! probably the worst bit of the whole supercharger build

Wow man! Just read this whole thread start to finish, so much effort gone into this and the end result is just amazing. When you had it on bronze speed lines is exactly how I’d love to have a dragon green.

 

What car does the shrick manifold come from or is it just an aftermarket part? Is there much involved with getting it to fit?

Managed to run it in yet? I've almost finished the Schrick install and i'm already thinking of the supercharger. How do you find the drive with it now?

Cheers mate iv put my heart in to this one !and my soul !!

The schrick manifold was aftermarket , origionaly a vsr but schrick bought the design and tweaked it a bit , was easy to fit to the car it was just the wiring that i didnt like but its not hard i just dont like wires or anything electrical

 

It looked great on the speedys but they had to make way for the super ts and the big brakes

Its run in fla thats for sure haha , was down at stealth last saturday , only just as the alternator died on the way down but we got there and managed to get another orderd and i stripped it down in the car park and put the new one on

Its now running the green toos and 8psi pulley and despite vince having issues with the idle it made 309bhp and 280ft/lb torque

 

The ecu has adapted though and the idle issues arent bad at all now

 

Cant fault the charger it just doesnt give up and pulls so hard lol

Was playing with a merc c63 on the motor way on the way home and i dont think he was expecting to have to chase me that hard haha

Btw where have you mounted the vacuum reservoir and solenoid? Would you mind posting some closeups of different areas of the engine bay? Thanks in advance.
