ChrisL 18 Posted September 14, 2015 New magazine being launched this month all about modern classics and I have it on good authority that a Corrado features in the first edition. https://www.facebook.com/modernclassicsmagazine?fref=ts Another article which should strengthen Corrado desirability and values. VR6 Lee 0 Posted September 23, 2015 I'll be buying that if I can find it What's s Saxo doing in there
Jim 2 Posted September 23, 2015 Ah the usual snobbery creeps in. The Saxo VTR/VTS were great hot hatches to be honest. Punched well above their weight. French hot hatches have always been extremely good as we all know. The VTS was a legitimate rocket ship. Though not sure I'd want to crash one.
Goldie 2 Posted September 23, 2015 Agreed.. I had a VTR, cost 1200, ran it for 30k miles and sold for 500, needed a fuel pump and other than that never missed a beat. Saxos all have happich rear windows as standard if you like that kind of thing.. Hardly any left that haven't been messed with means good ones will become desirable.. All these comments of how crap they are is was said about the previous generation of hot hatches and look how they desirable they are now..
Roger Chatfield 0 Posted September 23, 2015 Just got my copy, nice little write up on the C, all positive and accurate. Magazine reckons prices are rising and will continue to do so.. strongly ... Rog.
fendervg 33 Posted September 23, 2015 I don't like the way the C has been relegated to back of the pile on the cover - although it will be interesting to see if it makes a run up the inside straight over the next few months...

emmib 10 Posted September 24, 2015 magazine is out ive brought it makes for interesting reading with some really positive points, ie the driving and handling and the reliable strong running gear but also some really negatives with a list of what fails regularly on a rado, they have given each of the 10 cars four price ranges, tiptop condition they value the vr at £7000, good condition £4000, usable condition £2000 and project condition £800, it is ranked 7 out of the 10 and the overall winner for true modern classic is the ford focus rs what do u think? is it a  or a  ? Thursdave 10 Posted September 24, 2015 I had a quick check at my local crappy tescos last night and couldn't see it, despite there being practical classics, performance vw, landrover international and others! I'll pop into the big Tesco on my way home and have a quick browse for it there. sounds interesting at least!

Chuggs1 10 Posted September 24, 2015 Just been looking at the price of the Ford Focu RS - £10K plus for a good one - but very surprised that the 0-60 is only 7.5 secs thought they would be more than this
g0ldf1ng3r 15 Posted September 24, 2015 very surprised that the 0-60 is only 7.5 secs thought they would be more than this probably why they get whooped by their much older brother the Escort RS Cosworth ;) PMSL
Chuggs1 10 Posted September 24, 2015 Price whoops them too £30-£60k
robrado974 1 Posted September 24, 2015 (edited) If only it were possible to hold on to all our cars we have bought over the years . One of my first cars was a MK1 Zodiac , the prices of those now , I sold it in 92 for two grand ! .ok so it's not a modern classic but still .
