What's needed to own a corrado

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd put this out there to see what replies could be had. My list could be endless;

•Deep pockets

•Patience

•Breakdown/recovery policy

•Somewhere dry to store and repair it

•Use of another vehicle

(I'm obviously having a bad time with mine at the moment)

A 2nd car has been the most beneficial to me. Before that, Any work had to be done in a weekend, so couldn't really take on the big stuff.

Prices for some parts are bad compared to common poverty type cars from the same era, but compared to some prices i hear for something like a modern day equivalent of a corrado, it makes the corrado seem cheap and affordable performance really.

a spring loaded neck - such that your corrado will cause you to turn & look at it EVERY time you walk away from it

Have to love it enough that the pain and despair of ownership simply goes away.

Spent a small fortune on mine but no other car has given Me the same feeling as when I first seen the spoiler go up when trundling behind one in my Astra GTE mk2 back in 1993 :@)
