Try http://www.PWMotorsport.com the guy who runs it is really knowledgeable, if he doesn't have them he'll know where to get them. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. I don't, I'm afraid 😟 Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. I had a LHD one by mistake, it's a complete mirror image so no good I'm afraid! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. They are a great fit and good excellent quality. I wish I'd bought it before I bought my new selector trim from VW classic parts, still, now I have a spare!!! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. Most complex job I've tackled by myself to date was dismantling repairing and replacing the now working sunroof! In terms of the oily bits I basically do my own servicing, plugs, leads, filters and fluids etc. At no point yet have I tackled anything like what you've described, I'd be worried about leaving bits in or out and never getting it back on the road again. It's only because of help from the forum members generally that I've been able to do as many of the little jobs I've been able to do myself, the knowledge and attitude of the other members on here is immeasurable. I've spoken to a local VW specialist today who's estimated about £550 in labour and around the same in parts so around £1100 in total. He's said he's done this in the past and said it would be better to replace the chain and tensioners at the same time, as was mentioned by other members, it looks like I'd better start saving!
  10. That's WAY above my pay grade! Sounds as though I'm going to have to bite the bullet, see the local toothsucker and take out another mortgage!
  11. I've just been reading about some oil additives that can allegedly rejuvenate the rubber seals inside your engine and prevent the above mentioned problem. Has anybody here tried them? Do they work and if so what's the best one?
  12. That is one seriously stunning little car. One day, when my car grows up, it wants to be like yours!
  13. I was thinking more of a walletectomy than going straight to becoming homeless!
  14. Bottom line, what sort of price would I be looking at to get that done? Just so I have some idea what's normal before my trip to the local tooth suckers for another walletectomy!
  15. Just as I thought everything in Corrado world was looking good I've noticed a puff of smoke on startup along with that smell of burning oil. I changed the plugs and leads two weeks ago, do I now need to change my engine too or is this something that can be remedied by a competent VW specialist? Mines only on 119k, seems small mileage compared to lots of others!
  16. Wow! Got my remanufactured strip from Spen today and I have to say they are incredibly accurate and high quality. Top job!
  17. Doesn't really show the colour very well but gives some idea how dark it is. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. They look great, my interior is a much darker blue though, almost black.
  19. Do you have to make any alterations to the subframes to fit them? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. The interior certainly doesn't look at all aftermarket, it's a very dark blue colour, to be honest on first glance it's almost black. It's annoying really because the rest of the interior is in great condition, it's just the driver's seat bolsters. There's one rip where the wear has gone through on one and the lower one is worn too. I'll try to work out how to post pictures and put some up. Has anyone got any names for reliable retrimmers around Swansea?
  21. Anyone happen to have blue leather driver's seat for a 94 VR6? Mine's ok but the bolsters are getting rough so before I start pricing a full retrim I thought I'd see what I can find.

Sorry, which website is this code for?
  24. Bugger! Thought they may be, my door pull cover is snapped, on the passenger door. I've fixed it in place and re-covered it. I'll just have to bite the bullet and recover it again!
  25. I need to replace the front door speakers in my late model VR6. Is there a way to do it without removing the whole door cards, ie by just removing the door pockets?
