Always a pleasure mate, The car will handle 200bhp without any problems whatsoever. My last G60 was up to about 195bhp and well within it's limits. I wouldn't necessarily advise a filter (as they can suck items into the Charger unit)

Hmm, a bit of a personal feeling here, but given £6,000 I think personally I would buy a G60 with good body and interior, for about £4k and spend the extra £2 personallising it and "superising" it. Having had 2 G60s and a VR6 for a year now I am VERY happy with the VR6, but find its handling not as good as the G60 (weight problems) but a bit quieter (pipe and slippers time) and less "boy-racery". The VR6 needs revving more to get the best out of it, whereas the G60 has a small (if very powerful) power band.

Interesting thing there, my Vento VR6 weighs in slightly more than the Corrado VR6, so methinks might just about be able to go faster in the Corrado :lol: 8)

Fair doo's. I've only had my VR6 for less than a week and only driven in for about two days round town and not really slow either. But engine part prices must be cheaper on the G60. :? SOME parts might be cheaper on the G60 as some are standard 1.8 stuff, but others are special to the G60 (block, heads etc.) and so would probably work out more expensive and more difficult to get hold of. I also agree that the VR6 would probably handle the miles better, my 130k G60 was starting to sound a little tired and could probably have done with a rebuild. Although a rebuild would be probably cheaper on the G60 than a VR6. I tend to agree that the differences would be pretty marginal...

Dan - NO! Others: - Dan did a little feature on his car for the Sprinter last summer, and also appeared with Ian on his little trip to the fair isle. Must say, Dan I've put your picture from the one in the Sprinter and put it up on my wall at work, on the nicest Corrado photos I've seen.... however... looks like you need a new digital camera mate ;-)
