When you say vw spares what exact company do you mean? Google is giving me lots to choose from
-
Rears weren't a problem. It's the front ones everyone says NOOOOO to me. .. I'll try them now, thanks
-
Suddenly I'm wishing I was on FB..
-
Ouch. But still nice to have. Mine has seriously lost its chrome.

Anyone know where to get a new badge from please?

The front brake shields are rarer than hens teeth. I can't find anywhere that does them. I wish someone would do a pattern part as these fit other vr6 models as well. Good luck searching

Slow. The usual corrado take one thing off and find you need to replace another two! !! I still haven't found any suppliers that can make the vr6 front brake shields. Vw heritage said they would be in touch, but that was months ago. Slowly its getting there and whilst the wings and bonnet etc are away at a no rush painters. ... I'm working my way through all the issues. Biggest result is having a working sunroof, heater system refurb with 'working' controls, the abs light having gone off now and being able to ensure the dashboard and switches have every clip and fixing sorted. Small pleasures. How's yours?

Thanks. Always good to have another opinion [emoji106]

Just changed my oil pressure switches which are on top of the filter canister. Changed due to a leaky high pressure one. Question: my low pressure one was originally BROWN 0.15-0.45 bar Replacement BLUE 0.15-0.35 bar. I know it's 0.1 bar of a difference but is that ok for the car? Genuine parts from the dealer, perhaps I'm wary of change. .. She starts and ticks over ok !!!

I haven't bothered as this is a better designed switch which does not run hot. I did not want to cut into the wiring as mine was not showing any signs of heat damage. Others may say differently, but I am definitely impressed with the quality and better lighting of the switch. You won't be disappointed

Bargain at that price I paid over £30 although it is genuine
-
!! Disappointed not to be included. I'll see how things go. Good luck

If you don't want to buy a new one, I can send you a pic of this one
-
Add me too the list please. I'd prefer the off side plug off, sounds great
-
The part number on my late spec one is 321 853 601b If that helps. ..
-
I too would be interested. Waterproof sounds good to me. How many relays would it have?
-
Or if anyone knows where I can find a copy of the diavia wiring diagram that would be great[emoji41]
-
As I'm slowly putting things back together I've found these wires just below the glove box. I believe it's part of the diavia air con !! Any help advice very much appreciated
-
Thanks for the info. Fitted perfectly in seconds.

There's definitely a circuit board inside with 5 prongs sticking out for the electrical plug to connect onto. .. You do need a new one. Mine too had been tampered with. When I got it working the damn thing wouldn't go off... finally cured. Good luck with the switch. There are plenty about. Try and match the part number on it, but i don't think that matters. also try asking lillfuzzer on here. He's super helpful and seems to have everything

I found it was only the bulb in mine that was faulty. Pence from a car spares shop. Soldered in and works again. As for the clips, I swapped some from an old vw polo switch that had the same ones and also epoxy glued them in. Sound difficult but was surprisingly an easy repair. Just a thought

Just noticed karmannski has a roof rack for sale on the eBay section of here, if it's any help
