I had trouble starting mine due to a flat battery. No matter how much I charged it, it wouldn't start. Bought a new Battery and hey pesto it started straight away. I could only test the voltage side which seemed ok but I don't think it's cranking amps were sufficient. New battery-No problem I also went for a bigger 74ah battery as it does fit. I was wondering what is original in holding the spare wheel in place?. Mine just has a cheap flat washer and wing nut with no vw part numbers.... Also I have a little bagged tool kit. ..is this correct and what goes in it/how's it held down. Pictures very welcome I realise in owning a Corrado the tool kit should have a trolley jack, complete snap on tool chest and lots of spares. ..[emoji23] I'm just trying to get it back to original. My battery drain is only when I'm tinkering with car. Its not road worthy yet so I'm forever testing circuits and have the ignition on, that's all. One day after its been painted I may get to actually drive it without much worry Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

So today I fitted some new heated washer jets to the VR. Disappointed that I had to dismantle the connectors to get them to fit, so I took the opportunity to take apart and clean the incoming connection side. All Looks great I thought, put my tester on and it has a constant 12 volts !!! With ignition on. So, is this on a timer. .... I thought they would only work when squirting the front jets. I've read that some say it comes on with the heated rear window. Definitive answer for a 95 VR greatly appreciated, especially a wiring diagram so I can look deeper into this.
