ok found out that the noise commin from my c is the alternator, sounds like the main bearin is on its way to bearin heaven, just wondering if i can fix this my self eg:- replace the bearin or is there another alternator i can fit to it like a mk2 golf one or something. please help cheers :(

mine is kind of similar, if i nail it and get up to the 90 mark the inerior light comes on bloody weird especially in the dark :shock:

Yesterday i changed the belt that runs the water pump and the power steering pulley cos the previous owner had bodged it and chucked on any old belt plus it was upside down(idiot). I drove the car about yesterday and it felt much better. This morning when i fired it up there was a sort of knocking noise it wasnt very loud and when i revved the car the noise went away, i poped the hood and it sounds like its comming from one of the pulleys i cant be sure tho. Can anyone shed some light?

High mileage VR6 corrados..............................

yeh mines a 90' 16 valve and the spoiler comes up at about 45mph, anyway wasnt this a post about helpin the boy out buying a high mileage VR6? its well easy to go off on a tangent -

nah you cant go wrong with the five spokes, vw suit 5 spokes. THe corrado is a classic design so why not give it a classic set of rims

I have an 89 1.8 16v corrado and when i bought it both of the leccy mirrors dont work. I figure its a good chance of being the fuse seeing as both of them dont work(either that or im really unlucky) i looked in the manual and i couldnt see where the fuse for the mirrors are. Can anybody tell me or offer me any more suggestions Cheers

good shit well i just turned 20 on the 10th of april and got my first corrado about a month before- love it First car was a golf driver that looked the nuts it on the no-rice.com site in readers rides section look for Ross Elders mk2 driver :D -

Yeh i know that would have been good but you all sound like a nice bunch of loons so hopefully you just chat away. I was well keen on that guys wheels but he hasnt got back to me with a price or a pic. Do you know how much he would be looking for? :?

I've got a corrado 1.8 16 valve and i have the chance of buying a supersprint back box the thing is the back box is for a G60 and i was just wondering if it will fit ok?? Thanks in advance

i see those rims really suit the car, i'm pretty keen on getting a pair myself. Will you be going along to this meet at the start of may? i rekon it would be good to meet up with somebody who is pretty close by (sometimes)

hey everybody my car is in the body shop at the moment getting a bit of a touch up and i'm assured come 1st of May i'll be able to drive it so if you could tell me the time and place of this meet i would totally like to come along. Im pretty new to the world of corrados so bear with me. 1. Does my 1.8 16 valve run k-jet or digifant (mechanical or electronic) 2. Is it ok just to run it on optimax dont really think i can afford the k-star just yet? 3. Thanks a lot in advance

I have a 1.8 16valve corrado and i was just wondering if its ok to use one of these ecotek valves on it. I had one on my 1.6 golf but i just wanted to see if anyone else has used one on their corrado? Thanks guys
