  1. Probably worth emailing the guy, he's not been once since he started the thread over a month ago.
  2. "You have PM" just means that others don't know if it's sold or still available. "Dibs" to me implies that the buyer wants some sort of exclusivity period without actually committing to a purchase. Personally I would either say I'll 100% buy something ... OR I'll buy the item subject to a picture, or confirmation of XYZ etc. Basically just anything that the seller might not have included in the advert. Anyway, it's all fairly irrelevant but we just like to keep things open here so it's fair to other members who might be interested. Just thought you might like to hear our point of view :)
  3. Forum etiquette ... first to offer/agree the asking price.
  4. Cheers Bill, shame he's after collection though. I could always ask if he's willing to remove and post the cloth though, I could always pay £20 for that! Thanks s14a but most (if not all) of the current Ebay ones have some holes/tears. I'm after one in perfect condition unfortunately.

What more do you need  Welcome to the forum
  6. Probably a long shot (on here) but worth asking anyway.

Bugger, that sounds painful! I don't run tubeless (yet) but my old man lives ~4 months of the year out in Greece and is always out on the trails. Greece is about 78% rocks, 21% thorns and 1% olive trees! He swears by tubeless as a better method of puncture control.
  8. You've already asked this: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=75733&page=3&p=978622#post978622 And now started a brand new thread in the wrong place.

    hello all

    Welcome
  10. Just advertise what you paid for it. I really don't get the issue with people struggling to price things, especially when they've bought them less than a year ago! I owned my Corrado for a decade and managed to pick a price to sell it at. If I offer you £100 you'll say no. If I offer you £10k you'll bite my hand off. Somewhere between the two is your (own personal) asking price. I'm not sure why the forum needs to tell you. I'm sorry if this sounds abrasive, it's not meant to be. I guess I just don't get it!
  11. You've had it ~8 months, how's it so hard to put a price on it? Looks nice 8)

    B*gg*r!

Look at the guy's profile, it will tell you date/time of last activity. Re the PM question, you need to change your account settings to save a copy of sent messages by default.
  13. Just kidding  welcome to the forum :salute:
  14. Just watching HD coverage of today's racing. Amazing stuff.

^ Good enough thread. And this is posted in the wrong place anyway.
  16. It's only recent years that the mountain road has been one-way for the whole fortnight. Before about 5 years ago it only used to be Mad Sunday that got the one-way treatment. And yep the police presence is absolutely immense for the entire fortnight. But you would have to be a moron to somehow manage to get the wrong way onto the mountain road.
  17. 50 weeks of the year the mountain road is two way and has no speed limit. TT fortnight they make it one way and although it's still de-restricted they have loads of cones and temporary speed limits at certain places to slow/control the traffic. 10+ years ago most of the 37 mile course was de-restricted, apart from the towns and villages along the way. But they've gradually enforced more and more speed limits as the years go by. These days hardly any of the TT course, apart from the mountain, is de-restricted. The rest of the roads on the IOM are largely de-restricted though so there are more than plenty of decent roads to take in if you want to deviate away from the official course. I'm not a huge fan of the TT - as a local it's just added inconvenience and people driving like tossers for 2 weeks. I couldn't recommend it enough though! Check out the daily (HD) coverage on ITV4 ...
  18. Made a really good Rock car actually - the suspension soaks the bumps pretty well and the lazy torque breezes you around the course. I only sold it because I missed the ~400bhp Evo power. Stuey, feel free to give me a shout if you want any pointers or advice ... arriving on Mad Sunday, brave man! :salute:
  19. It's an expensive trip but definitely worth it, even if you just do it once. There's a reason people come back year after year though and from all over the world. First race is Saturday btw ... it's practice week this week (evenings) and then racing from Saturday until Senior Race Day next Friday. Scary stuff indeed. How they average over 130mph for 37 miles is astonishing. I don't tend to bother doing any laps over TT. The mountain road is one way but so much of it is coned off or under temporary speed restrictions (safety apparently) that it's not worth it. Get the R32 on the boat matey ;)
  20. Maybe the connection is that you need to have written a sh*t advert
  21. That might narrow it down to a permissions issue or just a glitch within the 'regular' user group then? Or is your test account technically a 'regular' user? I can't replicate the issue either.
