  1. no ,the front takes most of the movement and surely a mount that doesnt move as much as a sloppy mount will make wear slow down ? the rear isnt too bad , i found the gearbox more awkward tbh , just get yourself three if poss socket extension bars then the rear is easy :-)
  2. yeah pearl looks great when its sunny then goes all dull when the sun goes in :-( does yours look different colours in different lights ?

  6. it should blow the fuse before it melts anything though , thats why they are there :? unless they are over rated ,the rear demister does draw a lot of current

  8. yeah as nocrap, says i would check you've got the correct rated fuse in there and i'd change them to be sure , you dont want a fire or getting high off plastic fumes :-)
  9. green is a pia to take pictures of sometimes it looks bright green others it looks almost blue depending on the light
  10. same here ... ogrish aint for me the one about midway of the biker being t boned was a set up , the guy riding is a kidnapper/thief who asked for a bike to escape on, so the police gave it to him and then duly knocked him off :-) iirc it was in spain

  14. difficult to advise because no one is really in your shoes but if you sell the rado and later decide to get another, its not the end of the world as the prices are low for a decent c i've got a mk5 golf and the rado, the golf is great , cheap to run and quiet and comfy but i couldnt live with just the golf or the rado really everyone has different needs and wants and financial limits so it is difficult to advise ... :-(

  18. easy fix, pull the plastic trim at the rear of the roof once you've climbed in the boot, pull the headling down a little unplug the ariel and booster cable undo the (17mm or 19mm cant remember) nut and the ariel is out i wouldnt pay to have that done tbh
  19. you could do it yourself if you have a trolley jack, i did all 3 mounts on mine
  20. pull the fan speed knob off and clean it with a light grade emery (copper strip) and check the inside of the knob , clean with emery and make sure its contacting , its only sprung metal, pull it out a touch
  21. no special tools , i've only ever done this with the cat off tbh , you might be better off getting the local tyre and exhaust monkeys to do it , iirc the charged me £10 to swop mine for my decat
